List of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo characters
The universe of the anime and manga series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is a home to a wide array of fictional characters.
Main characters
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
Beauty
Beauty is the female heroine of Bo-bobo's group and usually the only girl when Torpedo Girl or Suzu are not around. A stereotypical teenage manga heroine, she is one of the few sane characters who is the first to join Bo-bobo and was the only citizen to still have hair after the attack of the town she lived in. She initially wanted to join Bo-bobo because she sought a life of adventure. Bo-bobo let her join him, but rejected Pickles at the same time. She has loving feelings for Gasser after he rescued her, but doesn't say anything about them. She is often exasperated by Bo-bobo's odd behavior or the behavior or actions of others, usually with the same face. She's the only person in the group that doesn't fight, but still criticizes the others' fighting styles. There are a few rare occurrences where she was forced to fight to defend herself, but it's only when Bo-bobo isn't around to protect her and at the last minute someone would come and save her. Beauty worries about her friends' safety and finds them as her own family and though finds Bo-bobo crazy she idolizes him greatly. She seems to be a random girl who joins Bo-bobo's group till Softon is "revealed" to be her brother; inferring that she may have powers of her own or is descended from a powerful bloodline. By the end of the series, she is traveling the world with Heppokomaru/Gasser.

Dengakuman
Dengakuman(田楽マン) is a character in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. The name is connected to "Dengaku", a snack food consisting of grilled tofu dipped in miso on a stick, which is his favorite food. Dengakuman is the "cute mascot character" of Bo-bobo. At one time the little white guy was the head of the Z-Block, the most powerful of the Hair Hunting blocks. His major concerns in life are making people eat dengaku and making as many friends as possible. Though he gains friends, some of them ignore him. Bo-bobo and friends taught Dengakuman the true meaning of friendship and Dengakuman repaid them by saving their lives with Super Dengaku Punch in the OVER arc. Soon he became their friend and joined the team. He is a white super deformed creature with a pointy head with a ball attached to his head and bears a strong resemblance to the Pillsbury Doughboy. Also Dengakuman is the true definition of Polygon as seen in one Bobobo episode
His trademark line, "We'll / I'll make 'em eat grilled tofu dipped in miso on a stick!" is a pun much of the American demographic won't understand, but is still used in the English-language anime nonetheless. Dengakuman can be violent but often he is portrayed as being an extremely weak character. Dengakuman actually claims that he is a dog, but he was only raised by dogs. Dengakuman can fuse with Bo-bobo to create a magical blonde popstar named Denbo; they become Super Denbo-chan if Dengakuman fuses with Super Bo-bobo.
Hatenko
Torpedo Girl
Torpedo Girl (魚雷ガール, Gyorai Gāru?) is a powerful, unpredictable force not even Bo-bobo and his Wiggins quite understand when she first appears. Compared to her "other half" OVER, she is a living female torpedo with human arms and legs. Furthermore, compared to the patient anger held by the human form, she gets annoyed by even the slightest of comments, immediately responding by making her bomb-like body fly towards her opponent and smashing into them with intense force. Even if she explodes, she will reassemble instantly. Unlike Over, she is actually 28 years old. It is unknown why she is 28 and Over is three years younger.
Villains
Main Villains of Bo-bobo
Although Bo-bobo and his team come across many strange enemies through their journey, certain villains fight against them with great force as the bosses of this world. Within the modern Chrome Dome Empire, these include Czar Baldy-Bald the Fourth, his Big Four (Captain Battleship, Kitty-Poo, OVER, Halekulani) and right hand man Giga. His battles further force him to encounter strong enemies outside his realm, including former Chrome Dome leader Czar Baldy-Bald the Third, Reverse Chrome Dome mastermind Hydrate, and even his chaotic older brother Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi, leader of the Hair Kingdom.
Czar Baldy Bald the IV
Tsuru Tsurulina the IV / Czar Baldy Bald/Smoothie the 4th (viz manga)(ツル・ツルリーナ4世) - The leader of the "Chrome Dome Empire" (マルハゲ帝国 "Maruhage Empire", lit. baldshaven empire, though the anime changes this from the "Margarita Empire" similar to the drink Margarita). His Japanese name is a Japanese onomatopoeia for something slippery. The Fourth seems easily in control of his empire at the start of the series, but he slowly loses his authority as Bo-bobo and his allies take out his forces, from the Hair Hunters to his "Four Heavenly Kings" to even his prison island of Cyber City. Eventually, he further lost his grip as he was forced by Hair Hunters cryogenically frozen one-hundred years ago to release their leaders to take over this new era. As much as he hated doing this, the Fourth eventually decided this as the only way to keep his hold on power and defeat Bo-bobo. But when even this fell, the Fourth decided to enact his greatest plan: the "New Emperor Playoff", where all of the most powerful warriors of the empire were gathered together in a battle to determine the next emperor. His plan: let all of his enemies take each other out, allowing for him to regain his grip on power. But what he doesn't expect is Hydrate of the Reverse Maruhage Empire taking over his tourney, using it to become emperor himself! The scared emperor bolts away knowing this, basically abdicating the throne and entering an early retirement alongside Mako-chan and Octopus Carl. Czar Baldy Bald also appears on the dollar bills of Halekulani. He is undoubtedly the weakest of his empire shown as a cowardly strategist and was the primary villain until the Reverse Maruhage Empire (Shadow Chrome Dome Empire) arc. He is 42 yrs. old. Czar Baldy Bald is voiced by Taiki Matsuno in Japanese and Terrence Stone in English.
The Chrome Dome Empire Big Four (4 Heavenly Kings)
The Chrome Dome Empire Big Four are four elite fighters below the Emperor (Czar in the English dub). Four of them are capable fighters.
Captain Battleship
Captain Battleship (軍艦, Gunkan in the original Japanese version) is the first of the Chrome Dome Empire Big Four, under Czar Baldy-Bald. He is also Bo-bobo's former friend and sworn rival. This regent-haired, white bearded fighter had also been trained in the Fist of the Nose Hair alongside Bo-bobo in the Hair Kingdom, but turned against his afro-haired friend when Bo-bobo was chosen as the Seventh Master of the Fist of the Nose Hair by their teacher (a juice can). Bo-bobo was chosen over Battleship because Captain Battleship was not a citizen of the Hair Kingdom. Captain Battleship controls his vast military forces from the "Pomade Ring", a sky fortress flying over the destroyed Puppu City (Gasser's hometown). He uses his own style of "Fist of the Nosehair" as well as fights with weird antics, similarly to Bo-bobo. While most of the attacks are his own, his ultimate attack, "Armaggedon", has him calling up the Earth Defense Forces to attack for him. He finally falls after trying to apologize to Bo-bobo for abandoning his friend for his own personal gains, only to face Bo-bobo's anger for acting like a baby. The next time Bobobo and company saw him, he was being punished for his failure by Over. He was the first one to discover Beauty and Gasser's feelings for each other, and taunts and exploits Gasser due to it. He participated in the new emperor playoffs but lost and, thanks to Bobobo, barely escaped death. It seems that he is the longest lasting of the Chrome Dome Big Four. As a Fist of Nosehair user, he is bound to be a little weird (turning into an octopus, blowing up his own ship, have a bad knowledge of numbers.) Like Bobobo, he is 27 years old. He inexplicably makes an appearance with the main characters in both the first opening and ending sequence of the anime.
Battleship was the oldest son of an average family, born in the Hair Kingdom. When he met Bobobo for the first time, he trained hard in the Fist of the Nose Hair to be acknowledged. Battleship wanted to be acknowledged because he wanted to have a purpose in his life. Bobobo was chosen by his master as the Seventh Master of the Fist of the Nose Hair because he was a Hair Kingdom descendant, though he did not have any actual skills (he was more timid and inexperienced). Battleship's pride was crushed so he decided to punish the Hair Kingdom. He didn't do anything when the kingdom was attacked, and was glad it was destroyed. Bobobo and Battleship ended their friendship due to this.
Battleship, still angry at the Hair Kingdom, joined the empire to become its very enemy: a Hair Hunter. As Bobobo trained for 20 years to get strong, Battleship worked his way up till he was a Heavenly King. The Czar may have respected him, but Battleship wanted more. To that end, he secretly plotted with his minions to control the government. During those years he met Suzu, a blonde psychic who would be his second in command and destroyed countless villages. After 20 years, Bobobo meets Battleship while fighting the remaining Fist of Nose Hair users and does not recognize him. Battleship had changed completely from the black haired boy who looked like Softon to a large man with a yellow beard and a ridiculously large ducktail hairstyle. The two of them fought their battle using the Fist of the Nose Hair, ending in a draw. Battleship later befriends a Flower Man who was soon killed by the Flower Demons. Angry at this, he kills all of the Flower Demons' assassins, and is currently on the Flower Demon King hit list. Recently, he took an interest in Gasser. He had become a leader of a massive army of powerful warriors, still awaiting Bobobo to finally pay him back for taking what he rightfully deserves.
Batleship uses the fifth greatest power in the Empire, the Personalized Fist of the Nosehair. (The stronger ones are Kitty-Poo's powers, Fist of Ultimately Evil Sword, Fist of Gorgeousness, and Fist of Object D'Art, controlled by Kitty-Poo, OVER, Halekulani and Giga respectively.) Though it may be a slight copy of Bobobo's Fist of Nosehair, it is indeed powerful enough to wipe out enemies easily. Battleship mastered this art so that even his ducktail hair style can be used as a weapon. He has also mastered a Fist that allows control over the Earth Defense to destroy his enemies. Like Bobobo he can also fuse with his allies, but it results in an absolutely pathetic form. Still, Bobobo and company had to train in Babylon to defeat him.
Battleship is sinister, as he exploits Gasser's weakness for Beauty, and he destroys countless towns and his own fellow Hair Hunters. He gets a bit emotional prior to his defeat, and doesn't get to say anything after the Pomade Ring Arc. It is later revealed that he has a button inside of him that makes his hair become really long, as Bobobo and company use it to get to Hydrate during the Reverse Maruhage Empire Arc. Battleship is voiced by Ryūzaburō Ōtomo in Japanese and Paul St. Peter in English.
Kittypoo
Kittypoo (プルプー, Purupu in the original Japanese version) is a horned cat-faced creature who is also the second of the Chrome Dome Empire Big 4. He fights like the Dragon Ball Z villain Freeza, to the point of flying around in a craft and mercilessly eliminating his enemies just like the famed manga tyrant. According to him, he's so powerful that even his servants Chocolate Munchie and Lemon Fizz are stronger than Captain Battleship. However, he is easily defeated by Don Patch shortly after he is introduced in both the anime and the manga. He is a participant in the new emperor playoffs, and is used as a sacrifice by the Reverse Maruhage. Kittypoo is best described as a reserved tyrant who is very polite despite his lust to kill. He is very strategic, as he learned all of Bobobo's weaknesses and strengths. He is the only Heavenly King to have no major arc in the series. (with his defeat coming between Bo-bobo meeting Hatenko and the blond's invitation to the Evil House of Blood, allowing him to watch his "boss" Don Patch defeat Kittypoo) His bodyguards include Chocolate Bar, Lemonade Fizz and Curry. Kittypoo is voiced by Ryusei Nakao in Japanese and Liam O'Brien in English.
OVER
OVER (オーバー, Ōbā?) is the ruthless third member of Chrome Dome Empire Big 4, the four elite members of Czar Baldy Bald the Fourth's Hair Hunting corp. Unlike many Hair Hunters outside those seen much earlier in the series, OVER takes his job of ripping the hair out of the subjects of the Maruhage Empire extremely seriously and will treat all in his gaze as prey. This harshness for his job includes the treatment of his own teammates, as seen by his scalping of both Gunkan and Kitty Poo after their failures against Bo-bobo and the Hajike rebels. Although OVER can and will attack with little or no notice, he mostly controls his hair hunting activities from an ancient Japanese castle, where he controls a platoon of various ninja-like warriors including The Ultimate Five Assassins, who themselves are known for their stealth and abilities.
Halekulani
(ハレクラニ): Halekulani is the last and the strongest of Czar Baldy Bald's Chrome Dome Empire Big 4. He is the owner of the Holy Guacamole Land amusement park. His main attack style is the Fist of Gorgeousness. This involves the control and manipulation of all monetary items, from coins to paper money to precious jewels. One of the most devastating of these attacks include wrapping his opponent with paper bills to transform them into what they are worth. He can also send opponents into a world based on the board game sugoroku and power up his "Gorgeous Shinken"(ゴルヅヤ-ス 真拳 Super Fist of Gorgeousness in the dub) abilities by fusing with the many precious gems he can collect all over his armor. His personality is more realistic then the rest of the Big 4, not making a big deal of the intruders and giving the impression of a bored trillionaire. He even begins to doze off as Bobobo and his allies struggle to reach him to fight. He has been shown to be cruel as he told a soldier to make the slaves work harder till they made a millions worth of money. He is obsessed with money, even to the point he can insane saying money repeately in a crazed stance. He later becomes a key ally in the fight against the Reverse Maruhage Empire after losing to Crimson and LOVE in the new emperor playoffs. Halekulani mentions he was a man with a difficult choice 20 years ago, a man named Czar Baldy-Bald the 4th decided to help him by giving him what would define his life. During those years, he eventually got bored and left the Empire. Halekulani eventually returned to his boring career as head of Holy Guacamole amusement park and find a future friend in Bobobo. Halekulani manipulates his money much like how Gaara from Naruto manipulates his sand, using his own will. He also makes his first appearance bathing in money. Halekulani is voiced by Shinichiro Miki in Japanese and Joe Cappelletti in English.
Giga
(ギガ): The leader of the prison island of Cyber City, the most powerful district of the Bald Empire, and Czar Baldy Bald's right hand man (though this could be seen as blackmailing). His main ability is the power of "Obuje Shinken" (Fist of Objects オブジエ 真拳, dub: "Fist of Object D'Art"), which allows for the creation of pieces of art that he uses to attack. This ability also allows him to transform enemies, particularly those with "Shinken" abilities, into art both for his collection and to assist him in powering up upon breaking them. After absorbing many of his creations, he is able to transform into "Super Giga", which has more powerful armor and much longer pigtailed hair. Bo-bobo finally puts a stop to him with the ultimate powers of "Hanage Shinken". He is also a participant in the new emperor playoffs, where he is crushed off-screen by Crimson, and he gets beaten by Hiragi in Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. He is 34 yrs. old. He is known for his supreme over-confidence to the point that he feels that when he fights that he doesn't even need a super fist. Giga is voiced by Tomokazu Seki in Japanese and David Lodge in English.
Czar Baldy Bald the III
(ツル・ツルリーナ3世 Tsuru Tsurulina 3-Sei): The old emperor of the Margarita Empire, locked away within the center of "Neo Hair-Hunt Land MAX" (ネオ毛狩りランドMAX, Neo Kegari Rando MAX, an amusement park thrown right on top of the old A-Block Amusement Park). Although he appears to be human, he is actually a cyborg. He uses "Red Magic Shinken" (真紅の手品真拳 Fist of Red Magic, read as "Reddo Majikku Shinken," which creates attacks based on magic tricks) to avoid the attacks of his enemies and attack them back physically, and "Blue Magic Shinken" (高型の手品真拳 Fist of Blue Magic, read as "Burū Majikku Shinken", released only within a special universe he creates through a magic handkerchief) to destroy souls and minds. Unlike the current emperor, who wants everyone to be bald, Czar Baldy Bald III wants to destroy all humans and then get the "Hair Ball", the source of power of the Hair Kingdom which gives them their hair abilities, for himself. He absorbs Bobobo, thinking he may be able to obtain it that way, and also absorbs Don Patch (since Bo-bobo wants a travel buddy), eventually changing into a very strange form. Bobobo and Don Patch manage to escape from inside him, and then defeat him once and for all with a technique, named the "Human Highlife in HD", showcasing all the wonderful things about life and being a human (such as getting a job, falling in love, etc.) At the end of "Part 1", Czar Baldy Bald the 3rd finally gains a "Hair Ball" and takes advantage of a vacuum in power, becoming emperor and declaring this land as the "Neo Maruhage Empire."
After many trials and tribulations, Bo-bobo's team faces him one final time at his headquarters: the Shueisha building in his final battleground of "Tokyo's 23rd Ward". Although still fighting with the power of the "Red Magic Shinken", he was now more powerful both with the combination of a Hair Ball, his eventual successor, Tsuru Tsurulina the Fifth (Yononaka Namerō)! After a long and drawn out battle with Bo-bobo and his allies giving everything they've got to stop him and his protege, he ends up taking several ultimate attacks culminating with Bo-bobo smashing him with "a weak arm chop", finally destroying him once and for all. His final words were in celebration of the Chrome Dome Empire he had created and how others will still rise to fight against Bo-bobo and his rebels. Czar Baldy Bald III is voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu in Japanese and David Lodge in English.
Hydrate
(ハイドレート): Known as the "Dark Emperor", he is the mad leader of the Reverse Chrome Dome Empire that exists underground beneath the castle of the real Maruhage Empire. In actuality, Hydrate is also the little brother of Czar Baldy Bald the Fourth, forced into the shadows due to his brother becoming the emperor of the country. Through training alongside "Landmine Dandy" (the father of Torpedo Girl), he eventually became a master of "Ashi no Ura Shinken" (Fist of Foot Sole), allowing him to attack his opponents with the empowered soles of his feet! But it was not enough to defeat the 4th, who eventually threw him away into the "Dark World", where he eventually established his own empire and army to take down his brother and the people of the surface! But eventually, he is defeated by the combined power of Bo-bobo and Super Patch. He is 38 yrs old. On the sidenote, he is the last seen enemy at the end of the anime. Hydrate is voiced by Shigeru Chiba in Japanese and Kirk Thornton in English.
Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi
(ビビビービ ビービビ) The second child of the Five Hair Siblings (older brother to Bu-bubu, Be-bebe and Bo-bobo, but younger than Ba-baba), he is the leader of the "New Hair Kingdom" and the final opponent of the first part of the Bo-bobo manga. Although he is the second child, he is the master of the most powerful of the five hair-based Shinken: "Kami no Ge Shinken" (Fist of Head Hair), allowing him the control of the hair of his head and the ability to stop other hair abilities such as nosehair or leghair. Under his domination, the Hair Kingdom suddenly finds itself as the most advanced civilization in the world, advancing a thousand years in technology within twenty years! However, due to his control of the land, he found resistance from his own sister Bububu-bu Bu-bubu, who eventually recruited Bo-bobo and his team to her side when they return to the kingdom. His first battle encounter with Bo-bobo occurs when he possesses First-Hair General Bird of Paradise, taking over his body and allowing him to use the "Kami no Ge Shinken" to fight brothers Bo-bobo and Be-bebe. Although he seems to knock out the "Hanage Shinken" and "Sunege Shinken" abilities of both, it is ultimately revealed that they ended up putting nose hairs and leg hairs amidst the hair on his head, creating a "hair peace" between the three and allowing for the Shinken to be sealed and victory. Later, after all of his other forces have been delt with by his siblings and the other members of Bo-bobo's squad, Bi-bibi reveals the truth to everyone: he was the one that had started the "Hair Hunt" (even directing the Maruhage Empire to do so from afar) after finding out that Bo-bobo was going to be the next king of the Hair Kingdom! It is here that he also reveals his true Shinken ability: "Kegari Shinken" (Fist of the Hair Hunt), an ability that allows him to manipulate many giant hands that both rip off hair and can even steal the Hair Balls from citizens of the Hair Kingdom! This ability also allows him to use the "Hair Pin", an extremely powerful rapier-like weapon that is lethal to Hair warriors. The ensuing battle with his young brother Bo-bobo has the two of them fighting over the Hair Balls of Bu-bubu, Be-bebe and Hatenko, leading to the afro-warrior sacrificing himself after the death of his sister Bu-bubu! With Bo-bobo dead, the remaining warriors try to stop Bi-bibi, but not even the power of Bo-bobo's glasses (controlling Beauty) or a more powerful Ikarin Patch can stop the hair warrior! But suddenly, at the bleakest moment, Bo-bobo returns to the fight, recharged by the power of dead Hajikelists and empowered now by the "Landmine Ball" of Landmine Dandy. It is with this power, as well as the power of his greatest allies, that allow Bo-bobo to put a stop to Bi-bibi once and for all! But while he lays defeated, Tennosuke leads Bo-bobo to keep his brother alive for the sake of his two young daughters. (amazingly, as powerful and evil as Bi-bibi is, he's a good father) The same mercy was not given, though, by Tsuru Tsurulina the 3rd, who ultimately kills Bi-bibi by stealing his Hair Ball and uses it to obtain the power he desires to rule again. However, once Tsurulina the Third was finally destroyed, the Hair Ball returned to its rightful owner and Bi-bibi found himself revived. Yet all he could think of with his life restored was to wait for Bo-bobo to return home once again... he is the only enemy that managed to seriously defeat ( not to mention kill) Bobobo.
Maruhage Empire
In itself, the Maruhage Empire gains its infamy for many powerful warriors who guide the twenty-six major blocks as well as various levels of assassins and higher management. Their levels of power go from minor grunts whom shave hair for the block leaders to some that are just as powerful as the strongest Hair Hunt troops of any era! Even several of Bo-bobo's allies start off working for the empire, taking part in the reign of terror before joining in his chaotic rebellion.
This is a list of the general villains of the current Maruhage Empire from the anime/manga series, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. This list mainly consist of Hair Hunters, along with block leaders and assassins.
Background
The main antagonist group of the series come in four respective versions: the Former Maruhage Empire, Current Maruhage Empire, Reverse Maruhage Empire And Neo Maruhage Empire, though the current was controlled by the Hair Kingdom's Bibibi. With the exception of the Maruhage Four Heavenly Kings and Cyber City; the empire is organized in alphabetical order with a few exceptional bases including Wiggin, Robo and River Blocks. As it is naturally expected, A is organized as the strongest and Z is supposedly the weakest. The strongest are seven membered group of Elite Hair Hunters including Babylon user Softon, Wobble-Wobble user Jelly Jiggler, wind master Geha and Fist-absorber Katsu. There is also several assassins of minor or great skill that eliminate those who are a threat. Finally the Empire is led by the current (and very weak) Czar Baldy-Bald and a few high commanders like Telu. There are few exceptions that are neither with the original 26 blocks that are usually weaker than the rest. (dub:name Chrome Dome Empire)
Leader
Tsuru Tsurulina the IV/Czar Baldy Bald the IV/Smoothie the IV:Tsuru Tsurulina the IV / Czar Baldy Bald/Smoothie the IV (viz manga) (ツル・ツルリーナ4世?) is the leader of the Chrome Dome Empire (マルハゲ帝国, Maruhage Empire?, lit. baldshaven empire), though the anime changes this from the "Margarita Empire" (similar to the drink Margarita). He is undoubtedly the weakest of his empire shown as a cowardly strategist and was the primary villain until the Reverse Maruhage Empire arc. He is 42 yrs. old. Tsuru Tsurulina IV is voiced by Taiki Matsuno in Japanese and Terrence Stone in English.

However, it turns out that Robo #1 is also known as Roscal (ロスカル) and was once a small robot befriended by Don Patch!. Puppetman is voiced by Shinji Kawada in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.

- Gechappi (ゲチャッピ?) is a demonic-looking member of C-block who controls the "Hairloss Beam", who makes anyone hit by it have all their hair fall out within 10 hours, attempting it on Bo-bobo, but ends up both on Beauty and Don Patch. Is defeated by the "Don Patch Hammer" (a green onion). Gechappi is voiced by Hiroki Takahashi in Japanese and Steve Kramer in English.
- TesuiKatsu (テスイカツ?) is the guardian of the "Red Hot Room", the first floor of C-Block's "Aitsuhage Tower". Has tattoos on his face and captures Don Patch in a dryer. He is not to be confused with Katsu from A-Block in the dub. TesuiKatsu is voiced by Kenji Nomura.
- Shop Manager (店長, Tenchou?) is the guardian of the "Thunder Room", the second floor of "Aitsuhage Tower" (which is a video store he owns). He faces Bo-bobo's wrath when he tries to fire one of his employees, a paramecia named "Mr. Cyclops Featherbrain Protozoa."
- Usa Chan the Rabbit (ウサギのウサちゃん, Usagi no Usa-chan?, Vicious Velvet the Rabbit) is a stuffed rabbit who stands outside the "Rapids Room" as 3rd floor guardian of "Aitsuhage Tower" (another video store). Everyone but Beauty ignores him. After mouthing off to Beauty, she ties his ears into a knot. He later appears during Land Mine Dandy's bogus recap. Usa is voiced by Chiwa Saitō in Japanese and Barbara Goodson in English.
- Softon (ソフトン, Sofuton?) is the first the guardian of the "Jet Black Room" of C-Block's "Aitsuhage Tower".
A-Block Amusement Park
- Mary-Go Round (完・乱射, Kanransha?) is the guardian of the Ferris wheel at A-Block's Amusement Park base. Bo-bobo gets into nice conversation with him while fighting him. He is irritated by the fact that his name is Mary (Ayumi-chan in the original) and able to turn his Ferris wheel into huge balls of electricity. Bobobo and Don Patch defeat him with a prank call. Mary-Go Round is voiced by Hiroaki Miura.
- Wonk (ウキッキ?, Ukikki) is the guardian of A-Block's monkey train. Name is based on the sound monkeys make in Japanese. Wonk is voiced by Kazunari Tanaka.
- 6/U-ie (ロク, Roku)?, Uくん) U-kun is the guardian of A-Block's coffee cup ride, he was formerly a "U" that was in love with Don Patch (Patches). He has a brain-washing ability to make his former "girl-friend" his again using hand signs of consecutive numbers, yet all it does is turn him into a goat. Ends up being defeated when Bo-bobo proves that "3+3=8", not 6 (this was through sped-up advanced math)! He later briefly appears as a participant in the new emperor playoffs. 6/U-ie is voiced by Daisuke Kishio.
- Hakechatsu Teruno (ハゲチャツ テルノ?) is the defeated leader (by the time we see him) of A-Block's jet coaster.
- Katsu (カツ?) is the vice-leader of A-Block and guardian of the haunted house of the amusement park. Can create smiley faces on his body that absorbs other "Fist" abilities, then releases them against his opponents in a technique called "Playback-Vac". Has a thing for accessories such as Gasser's neck belt, Beauty's earrings, and Bo-bobo's shades. This obsession ultimately leads to his defeat when he takes off Gasser's collar and, for the first time on the show, reverts him back to the mind of a baby. His smile mouth defense gets overloaded by Gasser's (now in baby mode) "Fist of the BackWind" and he is defeated. He later sides with Dark Yasha in the "New Emperor Playoff", but his former boss Jelly Jiggler handles him easily. He is not to be confused with Katsu from C-Block. Katsu is voiced by Kihachirou Uemura (anime), Hikaru Midorikawa (PS2 game) in Japanese and Richard Cansino in English.
- Spikey (トモヒロ?, Tomohiro) is a hostage taken by General Jelly Jiggler that is meant to draw Bobobo out. As punishment for probably betraying the general, Spikey is threatened to eat spaghetti & meatballs, but Bobobo tries to make him choose rice and curry. It is assumed that Spikey is well known by Bobobo and he used to be a hair hunter. Spikey is voiced by Makoto Yasumura.
Iguana Town and The Evil House of Blood
- Lemon Fizz (ラムネ, Ramune?, Lamune) is a beautiful green-haired girl (although some renditions make her blue haired). She is one of Purupuu's (Kitty-Poo's) two assistants. She is claimed to be stronger than Captain Battleship, yet loses easily to Don Patch. She may have a secret crush on Hatenkou. Her name is the same as a Japanese lemon soda.
- Chocolate Munchie (No Smoking (禁煙, Kinen?) / Chocochocotto (チョコチョコット, Chokochokotto?)) is the other of the assistants of Puruppu (Kitty-Poo); he is another character like Killalino whose design and even name had to be changed between the manga and the anime. (In the manga, he was a walking box of cigarettes whose name was "No Smoking" in Japanese, while the anime had to make him into a tamer box of chocolates). But like the rest of his group, he too was easily defeated by Don Patch (who at one time snitched him out at school from doing bad things). He is used as a sacrifice by the Reverse Maruhage Empire after losing in the new emperor playoffs. Chocolate Munchie is voiced by in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Grin & Bareit (Guri (グリ?) & Gura (グラ?) are two giant cell phones who are Czar Baldy Bald IV's strongest assassins and who pursue Bo-bobo to "Evil Blood Mansion", but both aren't as strong as they look: Bareit gets broken at arrival and Grin explodes trying to save him.
- MAX Kyokawa (MAX 清川, MAX Kyokawa?) is the "evil doctor" of the Hair Hunters, this giant lizard man captures Bo-bobo within a strange bio-liquid (Don Patch and Kappa make the bio-liquid into soup!) and makes him fight against his friends. MAX Kyokawa is voiced by Tomohisa Aso in Japanese and Joe Ochman in English.
The Ocean & Z-Block Base
- Cerberus (ケルベロス, Keruberosu?) A small chihuahua who is also the official guard-dog of Z-block Base. He was edited out of the broadcast version of the dub.
- Pon Taroぽん太郎 (Pontarō, Pontarou?) The very first fighter faced in Z-Block is actually the host of the game show "Quiz Kegari De Pon"! (クイズ毛狩りでポン, which roughly translates to Ringing Hair Hunt Quiz, with the "pon" both in the title and his name referring to the sound a buzzer makes on a game show) Bo-bobo and Don Patch both enter the show and get most of the questions wrong, but his true intentions are to get rid of Bo-bobo so he won't have to face him. Pontarou is defeated when Bo-bobo, transformed into a train by his final question, runs him over. (However, a variation of this show, complete with Pontarou as host, is found as a mini-game on the GBA Bo-bobo video game "Bakutou Hajike Taisen", where the questions are all Bo-bobo trivia). Pon Taro is voiced by Dan Lorge.
- Radioman (ラジオマン?) Unlike what his name suggests, this Z-Block being is a giant television who can permanently trap anyone that gets inside of him or the programming he shows. Working inside of him is Shou Mei. He is destroyed when Bobobo turns into a giant dragon. Radioman is voiced by Hiroaki Miura in Japanese and David Lodge in English.
- Shou Mei (ショウ・メイ, Shō Mei?) His name is the Japanese word for "illumination". The mastermind who controls Radioman, he attacks with several powerful lamps that are hanging all over his body. While his attacks seem to easily defeat Bo-bobo, it also unleashes another form of the afro warrior that puts a stop to him! Shou Mei is voiced by Kishō Taniyama in Japanese and Paul St. Peter in English.
- Elite Chef Units (1st Class Chefs, 一流シェフ?, Ichiryū Shefu) Unlike the Hair Hunting forces of the other blocks, all of the Z-Block hunters are in actuality a corp of identical-looking 1st Class Chefs (and one 2nd Class one) who end up nearly suffocating both Beauty and Gasser for lack of space.
- Zeb Ziegler (キバハゲ?, Kibahage) The vice-leader of Z-Block with pig tails, he actually first appears hatching from an egg laid by Bo-bobo...after he had transformed into a dragon! Claiming he had waited five years to take on Bo-bobo, the two end up playing a strange game against each other. Zeb Ziegler is voiced by Eiji Takemoto in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Dengakuman's "Friends" Two people that are always hanging out with Dengakuman and watching all of Bo-bobo's moves..while proclaiming how cute their leader is. The male, who has no name outside Z-Block Citizen, is completely in black and ends up driving around Dengakuman's tank. The female, Hibi (ヒビ), ends up defeated through a bathroom encounter with Softon and Serviceman. As easily as the two of them are Dengaku Man's friends, they easily turn on him while he's facing Bo-bobo.
Wiggin Block
- Hiroshi (広, Hiroshi?, Harry Hatenko) A weird man in huge sunglasses, Hatenko's clothes, and "horn hair", he first appears amidst a flock of Hatenko as he is leaving Bo-bobo's group. After getting into a "wiggin" fight with Don Patch over ice cream, his appearance and defeat leads Bo-bobo to head towards the legendary block of the Wigginists. Hiroshi is voiced by Masaya Takatsuka in Japanese and Dan Lorge in English.
- Line-Drawing Guy (ラインひくやつ Line Hikuyatsu?) A line-maker that Bo-bobo and group meet at a dolphin show at the front of the Wiggin Block. He wants to swim...but can't.
- Thread Man & Paper Man (糸マン (Itoman) 紙マン (Kamiman) Two beings, one made of string, one of paper. They were Gasser's "opponents" in Wiggin Block...until they were blown away by a wind before they could attack.
- The Teacup (ザ・湯飲み, Za Yunomi?) Guardian of the "Tea Ceremony" room on the first floor of Wiggin Block, he ends up getting Beauty, Gasser, and Don Patch involved in a bizarre tea ceremony. In a scene cut from the dub, The Teacup shows a very S&D reaction towards another teacup being used for coffee. He reappears during the New Emperor Playoffs
- Captain Ishida (キャプテン石田, Kyaputen Ishida?) A space policeman who appears from a Wiggin Bird Gasser uses in the "Wiggin Pet Shop" on the second floor of Wiggin Base (apparently he appears from any Wiggin Bird when the holder does not hold very much Wiggin ability). He is defeated by Bo-bobo after it is revealed he had arrested Jelly Jiggler (who was living in this pet shop) for causing a disturbance on Mars and bought him when he returned to the same supermarket Bo-bobo bought him before. Captain Ishida is voiced by in Japanese and Michael McConnohie in English.
- Chuunosuke (チューの助, Chūnosuke?) A small mouse samurai encountered on the third floor of Wiggin Block, Bo-bobo's team must partake in a cat-and-mouse game in order to stop it. His blade is called, Shadow of the Fang. He briefly works together with Bobobo during the new emperor playoffs. Chuunosuke is voiced by in Japanese and Brian Beacock in English.
- Rice (ライス?) A teen assassin encountered on the top floor of Wiggin Block, he is the master of "Kome Shinken" (Fist of Rice...which refers to the actual grain of rice, as opposed "gohan", cooked rice), which he attacks through an immense bowl of rice he summons above him. He also seems to enjoy blowing things up. While most of his attacks involve using the grain as a weapon, he can also trap people within the giant bowl, upon which if they don't escape within an hour...they turn into a panda! (well in Beauty's case, it was a panda costume) But while Rice primarily uses "Kome Shinken", he has an even more powerful alias and ability at his disposal: every night at exactly 6 p.m. (dinner time), he transforms into the "King of Hajikelists", using attacks more powerful and insane than anything even regular Hajikelists Bo-bobo and Don Patch haven't seen (though it doesn't help that Rice ends up wearing such odd outfits as a shampoo hat and a ballerina suit, and a giant "KING" costume while in this form)! He is defeated by Bobobo's "Pineapple Custard Pudding". He later assists in the battle against the former Hair Hunters, where he is defeated again by Lambada. Rice is voiced by Hiro Yuki in Japanese and Yuri Lowenthal in English.
Playoff Participants
- Higusari Seijūrō (火鎖清十郎 Higusari Seijūrō), Blond Chainey?) Guardian of Course #26 (Swift Hell-Depth Tunnel) in the elimination course of the "New Empire Playoff", this guardian uses the chains he's bound within to attack any intruders that enter his passage. Although Beauty, Don Patch and Ujikin TOKIO try to take him down, he is easily crushed by Halekulani's money attack when he appeared. Higusari Seijūrō is voiced by in Japanese and Jeff Nimoy in English.
- Menma (メンマ?) Guardian of Course #33 (Death Ramen Highway) inside the elimination courses of the "New Empire Playoff", this female in Chinese dress forces opponents to eat their way out while using her "Ramen Shinken" (Fist of Ramenラーメン真拳) to further make it difficult in their pursuit of victory (because anyone who ate her ramen noodles turned to stone!). Although she somehow stopped J, she was eventually defeated by a combination of Bo-bobo and the Three Civilization ninja squad. Menma is voiced by in Japanese and Stephanie Sheh in English.
- Nenchaku (ねんちゃく, Nunchuck Nick?) One of the newcomers of the "New Empire Playoffs", he attacks Bobobo immediately as the playoffs officially start. He uses stop STOP Shinken (Fist of Stop STOP真拳), a fighting style that uses duct tape to bind or stop an opponent. He gets defeated after witnessing some horrible programming from "Bobobo TV"; he is also the highest of the Empire's assassin division. His astrological sign is a Taurus according to Bobobo. Nenchaku is voiced by in Japanese and Derek Stephen Prince in English.
- Dark Yasha (闇夜叉, Yami Yasha?) Initially appearing as a serious older man in a kimono, this warrior becomes Bo-bobo's main opponent in the death battle arena "Bottle Age" (filled with giant water bottles) in the first true stage of the journey to Chromedome Castle. Manipulating "Dokuro Shinken" (ドクロ真拳Fist of Skulls), he has various abilities including the ability to create fighting skeletons, manipulate a skull sword or place a special seal that forces an opponent's bones out of their body. Furthermore, he can further transform into a demonic form using a special "Skull Sake". But even if he loses with these abilities, his true form is revealed... (Note: although he eventually appeared in the manga, Dark Yasha originally appeared in the Bo-bobo GBA game "9 Kiwame Senshi Gyagu Yuugou") It is interesting to note that his name was never said in the English anime. Dark Yasha is voiced by in Japanese and Paul St. Peter in English.
- Sambaman (サンバマン?) One of the most bizarre-looking characters on the show. He is Dark Yasha's true form. Sambaman's attacks cause anyone who hears and/or witnesses them to begin dancing. He also has a special juice which is supposed to make people ugly, but it ends up turning Bobobo and Don Patch into fruits, and Jelly into a pizza delivery guy. In one scene, Sambaman is featured wearing a bird beak and pecking away at the city the group fights him in. Eventually, when he is defeated, he asks to join Bo-bobo's team, which is responded...by him being strapped to a rocket and sent into space. Sambaman is voiced by in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
Video Game-Exclusive Villains
- Hisae is a teenage, blue-haired angel. She attacks by using air conditioners to lift up her short skirt revealing a various forms of censormanship underneath it. However, alone, this attack would annihilate everything, which is why she needs her assistant... (Note: Hisae is the only character exclusive to "Bakutou Hajike Taisen" that does not transform.)
- Roberto is a stick of dynamite, and Hisae's assistant. He absorbs the various pixellations and black bars that Hisae unleashes, channeling them into a sole beam, and blasts them at their opponents!
- Nice Guy is a green haired youth who constantly mentions that the fangirls love him. Attacks by convincing his opponents that he is more popular than them.
- Miaasadaharu is a living, bucktoothed jellybean, and Nice Guy's true form. He attacks, by making his opponents eat too much Valentine's Day chocolate and get fat.

- L is In The Escape! Wiggin rowaiyaru (脱出!ハジケロワイヤル, Dassyutsu! Hajike rowaiyaru?)'s character. He is as tall as Dengakuman. He rides a big autobike.
- Jeil is In The Escape! Wiggin rowaiyaru's character. The fusion character of J Big baike and L's. He used Fist of the Black chain Burakku tixeen shinken (ブラックチェーン真拳?).
Captain Battleship & Pomade Ring
Based out of a flying fortress hanging over Gasser's home town of Poo-Poo City, Captain Battleship leads an enigmatic fight against both his former friend Bo-bobo and even his Chrome Dome taskmasters. His crew consists of his own squadron of grunts, several monsterous assassins as well as his own personal battle team of The Battleship Five Quartet. (who occasionally number in six)
The first and weakest of Tsurulina the Fourth's Four Heavenly Kings (though he was the only one to be equal to Bobobo's strength before the World of Babylon training), Captain Battleship appears to be the most loyal and obedient of the Maruhage forces, fighting against threats to his reign such as Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and Gasser. However, outside the exterior of a Hair Hunter is an enigmatic man: one part nose hair manipulator, one part Wiggin, and completely against anyone who gets in the way of his own ambitions. Twisted by his childhood in the Hair Kingdom (of which he was not a citizen), Battleship fights against the enemies of the Maruhage Empire...while subsequently fighting against the Maruhage as well, believing that they get in the way of his ultimate ambitions of ruling an empire of his own! And yet even with all of his battles and desires, his ultimate obstacle is Bo-bobo, his self proclaimed greatest rival. With Bo-bobo both a former friend and an enemy against the Maruhage Empire in his own right, his battles become personal as he tries to defeat him not for the empire's desires...but for his own pride.
Because Captain Battleship is technically a Maruhage warrior, he has been provided the resources of the empire to help him on his own battles. His main headquarters is the Pomade Ring, a massive floating ring fortress he can transport towards anywhere in the world where he wishes to fight. Because of recent activities in crushing rebels in Gasser's hometown of Puppu City, the Pomade Ring is mostly seen floating above that area keeping watch on the former battleground. Within the fortress, Battleship is found leading a massive militia of warriors, including a loyal female vice-leader, his own personal army who fight for him and maintain the Pomade Ring as well as two monstrous assassins who go after rebels of the empire at his command. Battleship's most loyal warriors, though, are The Battleship Five Quartet, a squadron of five (sort of) warriors kept masked until the moment they enter battle, upon which they reveal some of the strangest and more powerful warriors in the empire.
Leader
Captain Batleship (軍艦?, Gunkan in the Japanese version and the English Viz Media manga) is the first of the Chrome Dome Empire Big Four, under Czar Baldy-Bald. He is also Bo-bobo's former friend and sworn rival. This regent-haired, white bearded fighter had also been trained in the Fist of the Nose Hair alongside Bo-bobo in the Kingdom of Hair, but turned against his afro-haired friend when Bo-bobo was chosen as the Seventh Master of the Fist of the Nose Hair by their teacher (a juice can).
Battleship had changed completely from the black haired boy who looked like Softon to a large man with a white beard and a ridicously large ducktail hairstyle.
Batleship uses the fourth greatest power in the Empire, the Personalized Fist of the Nosehair. (The stronger ones are Fist of Ultimately Evil Sword, Fist of Gorgeousness, and Fist of Object D'Art, controlled by OVER, Halekulani and Giga respectively.) Though it may be a slight copy of Bobobo's Fist of Nosehair, it is indeed powerful enough to wipe out enemies easily.
Battleship Five Quartet
Gunkan's Five Great Warriors (軍艦5人衆, Gunkan Go-Ninshū?) The five elite warriors of Gunkan's forces (who occasionally number in six), all of them remain hidden under cloaks and masks until the moment each one goes into battle. When Bo-bobo's team infiltrate the Pomade Ring, they must fight each one one-on-one based on the warp panel chosen (though Gasser almost fights all six at once at one point). Though only two of them lost (only one lost in the manga); they overpowered the rest of the team by stupidity (Loincloth Lloyd), obvious size difference (Tough-Looking Guy), and better to eat (Gum). Like Bobobo, his elite are a bunch of utterly random characters that just happen to appear in the series (for example, a piece of gum, an insanely large man, a calendar, a torn page of a calendar, a muscular man with a cat head, and a Kinnikuman like boy with a loincloth). Among the members are:
- Loincloth Lloyd (ふんどし太郎, Fundoshitarō?, Fundoshitarou) The first of the B5Q, this boy of sumo-appearance was actually once Gasser's sempai who fights with his "fundoshi" (the loincloth that sumo wrestlers wear). The abilities of the "fundoshi" consequently negate any usage of Gasser's own "Fist of the Back Wind"! It's unknown why Loincloth Lloyd joined with Commander Battleship and we never see him again throughout the series. His appearance is probably based on Kinnikuman as with his big lips, nostrils without a visible nose, large green eyes, and is as nuts as the rest of the weird characters. Lloyd is voiced by in Japanese and Anthony Pulcini in English.
- Calendar (カレンダー, Karendā?) A calendar with a scar on his right eye. Appearing to be the second of the B5Q, Bo-bobo easily takes it apart by ripping off its pages sequentially. Calendar and Bobobo had a wigging time together (being biker punks, commanding a ship, and quit the show) before it goes to sleep (it died in the original Japanese version).
- June 7th (6月7日, Rokugatsu Nanoka?) The son of Calendar and the real second B5Q (though he could be the third), this calendar page is forced to take a trip into Bo-bobo World where it goes insane due to the crazy antics of this world. In the dub, he has an Austrian accent. June 7th is voiced by in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Tough-Looking Guy (強そうな人, Tsuyosou Na Hito?) The third (or fourth) B5Q, a really muscular appearing guy who beats up Don Patch in 4.5 seconds.
- (Yogurt-Flavored) Gum (ガム, Gamu?) The fourth (or fifth) B5Q and Jelly Jiggler's opponent, it is what it is: a stick of yogurt gum lying on the ground. The real test was what would a dog eat? Jelly Jiggler or yogurt gum. The dog eats it, not only is it gone forever, but it takes the victory in the battle! After the Pomade Ring collapsed, the dog returns to take a lick of Jelly Jiggler, who lies underneath the debris and dislikes the taste of him.
- Death Mask (デスマスク, Desumasuku?) The final of Gunkan's B5Q, he ends up following Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Beauty into the enigmatic "Blabs-A-Lot World" when he thinks it's a bathroom. He is revealed to be a well-muscled warrior...with the head of a kitten who knows Bobobo's technique. But when he finally faces Bo-bobo, he ends up falling to an armpit chop, which appears weak but is a very powerful technique in "Fist of Nosehair".
Militia
As a Heavenly King, Gunkan has an army of weird and powerful warriors under him including two assassins, a special forces unit, a loyal female second in command and a sheet wearing guardian.
- Mean Green Soup Alien (お茶づけ星人, Ochazuke Seijin?, Ochazuke Alien) A green tentacled alien that can fire weird beams that makes anyone that gets hit by it crave "ochazuke", which is a soup of rice and tea. Is also the first assassin sent by Captain Battleship (Gunkan) searching for Gasser. Don Patch got affected by the beam. He is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama in the Japanese anime, Kappei Yamaguchi in the PS2 game and Jamieson Price in English.
- Insurmountable Wall Man (壁男, Kabeo?, Kabeo) The second monstrous assassin of Gunkan, he absorbs opponents within his wall-like body and then steals their skills. He goes after Heppokomaru for his "Fist of the Back Wind" power. He is knocked out when "Aitsuhage Tower" flies off and crashes elsewhere...while driving in circles with taxi driver Don Patch inside the tower! Insurmountable Wall Man is voiced by Takashi Nagasako in Japanese and Richard Epcar in English.
- Suzu (スズ?)is second-in-command to Gunkan. Suzu is voiced by Wakana Yamazaki in Japanese and Lia Sargent in English.
- Doll Man A bean bag doll who can turn anyone into a doll. Was stepped on by Gasser after turning Beauty into a doll, then lashed at by Bo-bobo's nosehairs after mentioning to them the "Battleship Five Quartet". Doll Man is voiced by in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Captain Battleship's Special Forces (軍艦特殊部隊, Gunkan Tokushu Butai?) Grunt soldiers for Captain Battleship, fighting in masses against opponents and controlling the "Pomade Ring" headquarters for him as well. Captain Battleship's Special Forces's leader is voiced by in Japanese and Steve Kramer in English.
- Serviceman The guardian of Pomade Ring after being defeated by Gasser, he helps Bobobo in many attacks. He replaced Suzuki for this position at his time with Gunkan.
OVER's Ninja Assassin Corp
The chaotic OVER (also known for a more infamous name and form) leads the most brutal segment of the Hair Hunt troops, unashamed of whom they have to scalp to get their way. This team takes advantage of various styles of ninjutsu and assassination techniques, mainly perfected by his squad of The Ultimate Five Assassins (some of whom don't even appear that ninja-like).
of the empire's forces. OVER himself is a force to be reckoned with: a powerful being evil in the eye who crushes opponents either with his massive pair of scissors or through his trial combat with anyone who gets in his way. Those who encounter OVER have one of two fates befall them: they become scalped out of OVER's loyalty to Baldy-Bald the Fourth...or they die. The most horrific means of death revolves around his usage of a special "Kill Seal" that saps away the power of anyone touched by it until they become nothing but a husk of their former self. Perhaps even scarier than OVER, though, is another form he takes which is much more powerful and demonic than even the scissor-wielding warrior.
Working underneath the rule of OVER is a unique group of assassins, specializing in various means of assassination skills and team tactics. Based out of their leader's samurai castle headquarters, the assassins use various cutthroat tactics such as manipulation, deception and ninjutsu to turn the battle towards their favor. While there are several independents working for OVER, his main squad of these warriors are The Ultimate Five Assassins, a team of unique ninja warriors who each fight in their own means, particularly to guard his castle from any intruders who may disturb him from his work.
Leader
Over (オーバー, Ōbā?) is the ruthless third member of "Four Heavenly Kings"/Chrome Dome Empire Big 4, the four elite members of Tsuru Tsurulina the Fourth (Czar Baldy Bald the Fourth)'s Hair Hunting corp. (whom also includes Gunkan/Captain Battleship, Puruppu/Kitty Poo and Halekulani) Unlike many Hair Hunters outside those seen much earlier in the series, OVER takes his job of ripping the hair out of the subjects of the Maruhage Empire extremely seriously and will treat all in his gaze as prey. This harshness for his job includes the treatment of his own teammates, as seen by his scalping of both Gunkan and Kitty Poo after their failures against Bo-bobo and the Hajike rebels. Although OVER can and will attack with little or no notice, he mostly controls his hair hunting activities from an ancient Japanese castle, where he controls a platoon of various ninja-like warriors including The Five Hidden Killers (dub: The Ultimate Five Assassins), who themselves are known for their stealth and abilities.
OVER's main attack style is the usage of an immense pair of scissors in conjunction with his main fist attack style of Gokuaku Zanketsu Shinken. (極悪斬血真拳 Fist of Horrible Bloody Murder, dub: Fist of the Ultimately Evil Sword). The main attack ability of this style is slashing an opponent with the scissors like a sword to cause as much pain and damage as possible. (in the anime, this was changed to the summoning of a purple energy ball on the scissors which he aims to hit his opponent) Similarly, he can also summon more scissors when he drops one pair, usually to throw at an opponent like a projectile.
As brutal as his main techniques are, OVER does not just attack with his battle ability, but also with the ability to kill an opponent from the inside out. If he (or his alter ego) attacks an opponent in a certain way, a special "Kill Seal" (dub: Death Mark) is placed on them, similar in formation to OVER's own symbol. Anyone with this mark on their body will slowly have their power drained by it, weakening them to the point of their own death. The power of the Kill Seal is so powerful that the only way to stop it is to defeat OVER, removing it from all afflicted. It is revealed that OVER is 25 yrs old, which for some reason is three years younger than Torpedo Girl.
The Ultimate Five Assassins
The Five Hidden Killers (必殺五忍衆, Hissatsu Go-Ninshū?, The Ultimate Five Assassins) Like Captain Battleship, OVER has a team of five warriors working for him and protecting his castle headquarters. But while Captain Battleship's team was a team of weirdos hidden away in masks and cloaks, OVER's is a team of weirdos using various assassin and ninja maneuvers to fight their opponents. Among the members are:
- Ruby (ルビー?) The first of OVER's Ninshū, she is a very cute little girl who appears to want everyone to play with her in her room instead of killing them. She has long blonde hair. But while she is innocent and friendly, she actually has the ability to brainwash her opponents into playing all day, making them oblivious to the moment she finally assassinates them! Though Don Patch easily ignores this tactic and has no mercy in taking her out, Jelly Jiggler in particular doesn't want to fight little girls and eventually takes pity on her plight. She is sacrificed by the Reverse Maruhage Empire during the new emperor playoffs. Ruby is voiced by Stephanie Sheh in Japanese and Mariko Kouda in English.
- Infinite Shoot (無限蹴人, Mugen Shūto?, Infinite Kicker) Guardian of the 2nd-floor "jungle stage" of OVER's castle, this Ninshū boy appears like a soccer player and ends up challenging Gasser on his level. He has the ability to transform his jungle settings into a chamber of molten lava (even though it takes him 10 minutes to do so) and attacks his opponent with a kusarigama. But while he does carry a soccer ball with him, it is in reality a bento lunchbox! When he fights Gasser, he accidentally removes his neck belt, and gets crushed by the power of the bishonen's "baby form". He also says that he is a master at ping-pong, and tries to sue gasser twice with BoBoBo, Don Patch, and Jelly Jiggler. He makes a cameo during the new emperor playoffs, but does not get a noticeable role like the Civilizations or Ruby. He later because best friends with Gasser, most likely because they both wet the bed, on and off. Infinite Shoot is voiced by Miki Fukui in Japanese and Richard Cansino in English.
- The Three Civilizations (The Three Cultures) The final three of the assassin Ninshū fight together as a strange ninja team (possibly as a parody to fellow Jump manga Naruto) who, coincidentally, are named after three of the first four great ancient civilizations of the world (but not Egypt, oddly enough). In the fight with this trio of assassins, Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Jelly Jiggler must work together (both figuratively and literally) to win. Bo-bobo faces the trio again in a ramen-eating contest during the "New Emperor Playoff".
- Mesopotamion Guy (メソポタミア文明, Mesopotamia Bunmei?, Mesopotamia Civilization) A tentacled-horned nose creature, is the trap-master of the castle, controlling an entire room of nearly inescapable traps as well as consistently trying (and failing) to set them off during the battle with Bo-bobo's team. He also appears to try to use a "cloning jutsu". that is sort of obvious to its opponents (since the "clones" are just hot dogs cut into the shape of octopuses). Also he is actually a human in a costume, who also (strangely enough) is Indus Guy's brother. Mesopotamion Guy is voiced by Yasuhiro Takato in Japanese and Dan Woren in English.
- Indus Guy (インダス文明, Indasu Bunmei?, Indus Civilization) A firecracker (in the dub, he is a roll of paper towels according to Don Patch) dressed in ancient Japanese garb, is the quiet one (compared to his partners) who fights with a sword like a samurai and can open up his body to reveal something unexpected to assist him. Indus Guy is voiced by Masaya Takatsuka in Japanese and Jeff Nimoy in English.
- Yellow River Guy (黄河文明, Kōga Bunmei?, Kouga Civilization) is the human leader of the trio. This one fights with a sword as well, but has various ninjitsu abilities such as a freezing ability and... curling? (the symbol on his outfit bears a close resemblance to the Tidus/Jecht symbol featured throughout the game Final Fantasy X.) During the battle with Bobopatchiggler, Yellow River guy removes HER top, showing a pink dress, after which she is married by Indus Guy. Yellow River Guy is voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto in Japanese and Ezra Weisz in English.
Assassins
- Puckered Lips (おちょぼ口君, Ochoboguchi-kun?, Ochoboguchi-kun) A ninja with a mouth for a face, he reveals himself in Wiggin Block after Rice's defeat to fight him and extend an invitation to take on his master OVER. He claims that "The walls have ears, and the ceilings have lips!" because he is first seen hanging from the ceiling. Besides his ninja abilities, he also possesses an ability to vacuum anyone inside of his mouth to send them to the location of his choice. Puckered Lips is voiced by Ken Narita in Japanese and Anthony Pulcini in English.
- Gump (ガンプ, Ganpu?) The bodyguard/janitor of OVER's castle. He possesses wings on his back, but they are just for show. His flying ability truly comes from the antennae on his head. He is rather easily defeated from a collaborative effort of the whole Bo-bobo team (and a little Kinnikuman battle tactics). Taking advantage of his name, the dub makes him sound like Forrest Gump. Gump is voiced by Kouhei Fukuhara in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
This is a list of villains in the anime/manga, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, that reside in Holy Guacamole Land.
Halekulani & Holy Guacamole (Hallelujah) Land
Although the most powerful of Baldy-Bald's Big Four, Halekulani's concerns are less for the empire and more for the gain of his own personal wealth. That's why he runs the infamous Holy Guacamole Land amusement park, (named "Hallelujah Land" in the manga series) where he both milks everyone out of every cent they own and leads a squadron of hitmen to make sure everyone gives their fair pay. His most infamous team is A Few Dangerous Thugs, a squadron of his three (well sort of) most powerful warriors.
Background
The man known as Halekulani is unquestionably the most powerful of Czar Baldy-Bald's Big Four, powerful enough to easily crush any of his boss' enemies with little effort. However, as powerful as he may be, this warrior has no interest in Baldy-Bald or his Hair Hunt. The main focus and obsession of his own, personal life...is money. Money is Halekulani's pride and joy: making it, bathing in it and even mastering a powerful Fist style that uses his riches as his weapon. It is no wonder that his monetary obsessions has led to him becoming the leader of Holy Guacamole Land (original name: Hallelujah Land), the most popular and profitable amusement park in the empire! Connected through the empire's transportation network, Halekulani allows for easy access and availability for all who wish to entertain themselves. But there's a cost for all who go there: every single attraction comes with a fee, forcing everyone to add to Halekulani's already tremendous wealth. And at the very moment the attraction no longer makes profits, the mad leader cuts his loses by blowing it up (even if people are still inside!).
For the further obedience and collection of his ultimate desire in his park, Halekulani controls a platoon of minions who enforce the law in the park, clamping down on troubles and making sure his profits continue to come in. These assassins are placed all over the park, even to the point of the trains that transport potential customers inside. The most powerful of these warriors is a group known as A Few Dangerous Thugs (original name: Hell Killers), a team of three who take out the particularly pesky nuisances causing a disturbance in Holy Guacamole Land, beating them up and then showing them the door...if they're not dead first. Although most troubles are handled with little problem, the arrival of Bo-bobo's team gives the money master and his squadron of minions their work cut out for them.
Later after Halekulani's defeat, Bobobo, Don Patch, and Jelly Jiggler decide to rebuild Holy Guacamole Land and called it Jiggly Land, we they use rubber gloves for landscaping and charge tourists with jars of jelly for admission. 30 minutes later, Bobobo states that they tourists showed up, but they couldn't pay their taxes with jars of jelly, so they had to close the park down. This was merely a Wiggin' joke that was probably forgotten about since they were working on the park the same time as their ally Gasser got captured by Wan Ronga and taken to Cyber City. However, we do see later that Halekulani returns to his park and retains control even after his own defeat.
Leader
Halekulani (ハレクラニ?) is the last and the strongest of Czar Baldy Bald's Chrome Dome Empire Big 4.
A Few Dangerous Thugs
A Few Dangerous Thugs (ヘル・キラーズ, Hell Killers?) Just like Captain Battleship and OVER before him, these are officially the main underlings of Halekulani: three killer assassins working within the confines of Hallelujah Land sent down to take out any intruders to the park...such as Bo-bobo. Among the members are:
- Garbel of Manicura (鮮血のガルベル, Senketsu no Garuberu?, Galubel the Fresh-Blooded, Garuberu of the Fresh Blood (English manga)) The first Hell Killer and the guardian of the "Candy House" (English manga: "Gingerbread House"), he can lengthen his nails and control their motion and movements with ease. Bo-bobo puts a stop to him with a manicurist and with a team-up move with Jelly Jiggler. Garbel is voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto in Japanese and Roger Rose in English.
- T-500 (テイ-500?) A parody on the T-800 from The Terminator, this gun-toting Hell Killer attacks Don Patch after he takes over a Muscle Marshalls (similar to Power Rangers) stage show in Hallelujah Land. He wears a scouter (similar to one of Freeza's, but it the manga, it's a robot eye) over his eye that reads power and ability, but because of the weird tactics of Don Patch, he becomes utterly confused and eventually defeated (but to those watching, it was merely part of the show!). T-500 is voiced by Shintaro Ohata in Japanese and David Lodge in English.
- The Terrible Triplets (獄殺3兄弟, Gokusatsu San-Kyōdai?, Three Prison-Murderer Brothers, The Super Hell Bro's (English manga)) The third of the three Hell Killers is, in reality, three brothers who work together as one unit. All of them use "Fist of Brothers"(兄弟奥義: Kyodai Ōgi) to fight and Together, the brothers are the guardian of the "Climb High Tower" attraction of Hallelujah Land, and are able to fight their opponents either split apart or as a brotherly team. But none of them expect the teamwork (or lack of) that Bo-bobo and his allies bring when they face them down! They later make a brief cameo as participants in the new emperor playoffs. The Triplets are:
- Beep (ビープ?) The youngest brother , he fights with huge cat gloves on his hands and wears a huge helmet on his head that conceals his bishonenous looks. He really hates poop, thus defeating Softon was one of his priorities. In the English dub of the anime, Beep called Softon's head "dessert" since it resembled ice cream. During Bo-bobo's "Bo-bobo Roulette" attack, Beep was the one who received the most punishments (along with his brothers at certain times). Beep is voiced by Hisayoshi Suganuma in Japanese and Keith Silverstein in English.
- Megafan (メガファン?) The middle brother, can manipulate chewing gum that will have dangerous effects towards anyone that gets hit by it (including one that kills his opponent with its smell 30 minutes after being hit by it). He also can attack with a pair of scimitars, which he had used to take Beauty and Suzu hostage with in the manga. He individually received the least amount of punishments from Bo-bobo's "Bo-bobo Roulette" attack, even though he was damaged in most of them along with his brothers. Megafan is voiced by Yasuyuki Kase in Japanese and Yuri Lowenthal in English.
- Haou (覇王, Haō?) The eldest brother, is a small demon-like creature who doesn't say as much as his brothers and merely attacks with his fists. His true abilities are unleashed whenever his two younger brothers transfer their power to him, allowing him to use the strength of all three at once. He is shown to be the strongest of the three, even being able to resist several of Bo-bobo's punishments from the "Bo-bobo Roulette." Haou is voiced by Yasuhiro Takato in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
Assassins
- Kanemaru (カネマール?) A spear-wielding assassin Bo-bobo and Jelly Jiggler encounter on the train to Halellujah Land. Called the "Boxer on the Boxcar", he is able to stand on top of his moving battlefield without falling off. After the Wiggin Trio defeat him, he gives his title (and sash) to Bobobo later thrown away due to Beauty. Halekulani turns Kane-Maru into a yen for his failure. He probably changed back to Kanemaru when Halekulani was defeated. Kanemaru is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi in Japanese and Keith Silverstein in English.
- Nightmare (ナイトメア?) Guardian of the "Little Kids Area" of Hallelujah Land, he fights by taking advantage of being the only adult within his area and taking full advantage of his attractions. His most powerful ability is "Death Nightmare", the ability to make his victims' worst nightmares come to life. He uses this move during his battle with Bo-bobo, Don Patch, and Jelly Jiggler in the Children's Playground; Jelly Jiggler's was being tortured by tofu, Don Patch's was being surrounded by seven beautiful women wearing bunny costumes, and Bo-Bobo's was playing basketball with a bunch of kangaroos. He is defeated when the younger Bo-bobo and Don Patch become Incomplete Bobopatch, which is a crudely drawn version of the original. Nightmare is voiced by Kouichi Toochika in Japanese and Doug Erholtz in English.
Attractions
- Old Goldfish-Man Show – A short lived attraction. It is a show involving a man with a head in the shape of a goldfish. He is holding a glass blind for no apparent reason. It was destroyed soon after Bobobo entered it. Though the building was destroyed, Dengakuman continued to watch the show claiming it "Just like broadway."
- Spacey World – The attraction consists of several aliens and their spaceship. However, the attraction is also on the path of the train line heading into Holy Guacamole Land and nearly gets destroyed during Bo-bobo's team fight against Kanemaru.
- Be-a-Kid World – An area in which one literally becomes a kid again. It is one of the most popular attractions as claimed by Suzu. It is guarded by Nightmare.
- Gingerbread House – This is the battlefield Where Bobobo, Jelly Jiggler, Suzu and Beauty face Galabel of Manicuria unleashing the combination of jelly and nosehair, "Jelly Jiggler Nosehair!"
- Muscle Marshals Stage – The stage-attraction that Don Patch carries Gasser off to after knocking him out. It is first in use for a Spandex Rangers show, but Don Patch takes control of the show and engages T-500 while promoting the sale of cow milk. T-500 is defeated when Don Patch forcibly teaches T-500 who the Main Character really is.
- Climb-High Tower – This is the battlefield for The Wiggin trio and the terrible triplet's battle, and Bobobo unleashes Bobobo Roulette to defeat them.
- Money Castle – Halekulani's domain where he keeps a giant money pool. This is where the battle with Halekulani takes place.
Giga & Cyber City
As leader of the technologically advanced Cyber City, Giga uses his power and connections to enhance his own artistic talents as well as give fair justice to those who commit crimes against the empire. His Six Cyber Knights lead various punishment zones of the island, whereas he personally deals with any Fist manipulators in the name of his art.
Background
There are rebels though not as major as Bobobo, they still provide some menace to the government so when being shaved isn't enough then they are given a life sentence to Cyber City. A hellish, cybernitic prison island made right in the middle of the ocean it is where most of the rebels of Czar Baldy Bald the 4th are imprisoned and shaved of their hair; the jail masters even design sporting events to gamble on and set an example to all who challennge the Chrome Dome Empire of its merciless nature. Even if you tried to escape, it is so far that very few animals are able to travel there. This prison metropolis is led by Giga the second in command of the 4th an art master who is accompanied by two beautiful women and is just as strong as the current Emperor! The insane king of Cyber City has 6 major guards known as the 6 Cyber Knights who are rumored to be as powerful as the Chrome Dome Big 4 and one is powerful enough to give unlimited energy to keep the metropolis running. Giga and his servants woulldn't expect resistance from a gang of weird creatures, powerful nosehair... and a blonde singing girl popstar named Denbo (okay she's just two guys put together).
Cyber City Ruler
The 6 Electric Brain Warriors
The 6 Electric Brain Warriors (天脳6闘騎士, Tennō Roku Tōkishi?, The Six Cyber Knights) Six powerful underlings of Giga, each of whom controls one of the various execution stands in Cyber City. Each of these is televised to the locals to make examples of them to the others. oddly, each of the members (except pana) is a couterpart of another character. The members are:
- Pana (パナ?) Guardian of the "Sphere Prison Execution Stand", he is a long-haired man who kills opponents within a sphere made up of roads upon which he rides on with the wheel on his head. His primary attacks include spinning rapidly (either upside down or right-side up) while using circular blades or attacking with his "Lightning Ball". Pana is voiced by Hiroshi Tsuchida in Japanese and Liam O'Brien in English.
- Sonic (ソニック, Sonikku?) Guardian of the "Bungee Execution Stand"/"Bungee Jump Hair Hunt Stadium", his method of death involves bungee matchups between several opponents and himself and his underlings Super Rabbit and Despair-kun (known as the Unknown Sad Sack in the dub and Emo Boy in the Manga). However unlike anyone else, he has a special rocket attached to him preventing him from ever falling. Being a launching machine like warrior makes him Over & Torpedo Girl's counter part. Sonic is voiced by Shinji Kawada in Japanese and Jeff Nimoy in English.
- Shibito (詩人, Shibito?, Bad Bard (US Dub)/Poet(US Manga)) Is the leader of the 6 Electric Brain Warriors and the Guardian of the "Writer Prison Execution Stand"/"Library Hair Hunt Stadium". He is the master "Gothic Shinken" (ゴシック真拳 Fist of Gothic), an ability that allows him to create words out of nothing and use them to create attacks based on what they say. He can manipulate words to allow him to release an object that is symbolized from the world (such as creating a spear from the word "spear") and even create illusions so that everyone merely sees words even for their friends and enemies. (Interestingly, his name is an alternate reading of the word "shijin", the Japanese word for poet) He is defeated again during the new emperor playoffs. Being a young boy with an unusual power, he is Gasser's counterpart. Shibito is voiced by Hiro Shimono in Japanese and Richard Cansino in English.
- Kuruman (クルマン?, Otto, Carman (English Manga)) A man with a car for a head, he is the guardian of the "Hell Training Institute"/"Driving School Stadium", where he controls a large force of possessed cars, traffic signs and zombie driving instructors, all of whom handle most of the fighting for him. His weakness is his obsession with preventing his car face from being damaged, which is how Bobobo, Softon, and Dengakuman stop him. Other than that, he is the weakest of the Cyber Knights, and enjoys writing haikus. He also is really nervous and anxious to succeed when Giga is watching. Being pathetic and obsessed with himself (as well as next to useless on his own) makes him Don Patch's counterpart.Kuruman is voiced by Kazunari Kojima in Japanese and Dan Lorge in English.
- Wan Longa (王・龍牙 Wan Ronga?) Master of "Rōgoku Shinken" (牢獄真拳 Fist of Jail) (Fist of the Prison in the English version). He was the one who originally captured Gasser and brought him to Cyber City in the first place. Later, he was taking time off during Bo-bobo's battle with the other Cyber Knights after another capture run. One of those he had captured was Hatenko, who would eventually stop him at the same time Bo-bobo finishes off Giga. It is possible that he is the second strongest next to J. He is Hatenko's direct opposite counterpart because seeing how he used locks, and restraints and hatenko used keys. Wan Longa is voiced by Masaya Takatsuka in Japanese and Michael McConnohie in English.
- J (ジェイ?) - Known as the "Messenger of the Black Sun", this suited, mustach-wearing man (with a head no one knows if its an onion or garlic) controls the power within Cyber City. He is a master of "Kurotaiyō Shinken" (黒太陽真拳 Fist of the Black Sun), allowing him to attack with powerful black suns and illusions created from five black suns created in his field. He also has the ability to teleport other things as needed...which ends up bringing in Dengaku Man just when Bo-bobo and Don Patch prepared to fuse...and ends up creating Denbo for the first time (and his downfall)! Although he and Softon are enemies at first, J eventually trains Softon to increase his Babylon abilities! He appears again during the new emperor playoffs(where Bo-bobo calls him "Q" for some odd reason), but loses early on to Menma. Out of all the many ridiculous villains in Cyber city, J seems to be the most serious and he can be rather cruel in battle. It is unknown wheteher J's name stands for anything. His weird head and godlike powers make him Softon's dark counterpart. J is voiced by Jūrōta Kosugi in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
Other Villains
- Cyber Soldiers – Two soldiers of Cyber City that are seen with Wan Ronga when they first spot Gasser and take him to Giga. They have a monitor in which they to keep track of each fist master and hunt for them.
- Water Guards – Two guardians of Cyber City's gate. They are easily defeated by Torpedo Girl.
- Super Rabbit (スーパーラビット?) One of Sonic's subordinates on the "Bungee Execution Stand", he is an anthropomorphic pink rabbit with the word "SPEER" written on his belly. Although he has a tired expression, he uses powerful karate moves when his eyes are fully open, even in the midst of a bungee jump. He makes a brief appearance as a participant in the new emperor playoffs. Super Rabbit is voiced by Minoru Shiraishi.
- Despair-kun (絶望君, Zetsubou-kun?, The Unknown Sad Sack (anime dub), Emo Boy (Viz manga) The second of Sonic's subordinates of the "Bungee Execution Stand". He is a depressed, muscular man with a paper bag over his head. He never wants to take part in the bungee battle and consistently tries to cut off his rope to die. However, he is willing both to befriend and fight Bo-bobo, particularly for food, most commonly cookies. Later, he joins in Bo-bobo's group during the fight against the Reverse Maruhage Empire. Despair-kun is voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto in Japanese and Dan Lorge in English.
Czar Baldy Bald the 3rd & The Former Chrome Dome
One-hundred years ago, Czar Baldy-Bald the Third lead an armada that made the Chrome Dome Empire the most powerful in the world. But at their height, they froze themselves in cryogenic slumber to awaken just when Baldy-Bald the Fourth needs them. Based out of a special amusement park constructed on their behalf, the magical leader leads his own platoon of block leaders, ranging from living ice cream and fishcake to manipulators of plants, dreams, even dimensional constructs!
Background
One century before the start of the series, the Maruhage Empire was one of many countries on planet Earth: a small country of little notice. However, it was at this time that a new, powerful emperor took control of the country. This emperor was Tsuru Tsurulina the Third (dub: Czar Baldy-Bald the Third), a madman with a fierce xenophobia of humanity and a desire to conquer and destroy all. Gathering the most powerful soldiers and forces in the empire, he sparked an invasion that would not stop under any circumstance. Within three days of the start of the invasion, Tsurulina the Third and the Maruhage Empire had conquered nearly the entire world! They now ruled over the entire population and controlled it with an iron fist, dividing their conquerings into twenty-six blocks, each ruled by one of the generals who took part in the invasion.[1]
However, even with control of practically the entire Earth, Tsurulina the Third wanted more. In particular, he became interested in one country that had remained unconquered during his three-day reign of terror: the Hair Kingdom, a small kingdom filled with creatures that resembled hair follicles...as well as a couple of humanoids. When the Maruhage Empire proceeded to invade the Hair Kingdom, warriors protected it with an internal artifact known as the Hair Ball, which gave them amazing powers and abilities. Tsurulina became obsessed with obtaining a Hair Ball to the point of invading the Hair Kingdom, yet always failed to make a dent in conquering the land and obtaining the power for himself.[2] To further solidify his troops into defeating the hair menace, the emperor would declare "Hair Hunts", where his soldiers and generals would scour the countryside making every man, woman and child bald. Several other lands other than the Hair Kingdom remained out of reach to the Maruhage Empire, including the defiance of the similarly chaotic Shigeki Kingdom led by the enigmatic Shigeki X.[3]
However, at the height of their power, with the world under their finger and complete authoritarian rule, Tsurulina and his entire Maruhage force did something unexpected: they disappeared. In particular, the emperor, his generals and all the Maruhage soldiers sealed themselves into a cryogenic chamber and froze themselves. The assumption was that with the world completely under the Maruhage Empire, no one would stand to face them and that they would rise once again when their rule was under threat. For one hundred years, the chamber holding the old soldiers remained undisturbed underground while the Maruhage Empire they built continued to exist unopposed by any forces.
Around one-hundred years after their freezing, the seal to their cryogenic chamber broke and the chamber rose to the surface once more. A new emperor, Tsuru Tsurulina the Fourth (Czar Baldy-Bald the Fourth) now ruled the empire. However, the land that these ancient generals built was under threat: a band of weird rebels led by Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, a warrior from the Hair Kingdom, was plowing through the forces of the modern Maruhage, taking out generals and even the most powerful of the Fourth's warriors. Although the current emperor seemed scared at first that his more powerful predecessors had returned from cryogenic sleep, he saw this as a double fold opportunity for himself: the warriors from a hundred years ago were much more powerful than his own and they would immediately go after the warrior from the Hair Kingdom causing him trouble! Allowing the warriors to do as they desire, they return once again to fight against the rebels...not knowing of the weird and powerful opponents they were about to face.[4]
Their most common technique is Turbo Trio Salva, which allows any of three block leaders to create a very powerful attack. (dub:Fomer Chrome Dome Empire)
Seven Main Block Leaders
Like the modern Maruhage Empire, the Maruhage Empire of one-hundred years ago was primarily divided into twenty-six letter blocks. Similarly, the seven most powerful of these generals lead the seven most powerful blocks (A Block to G Block) and likewise became the main leaders of the many other generals in the modern battles. Four of them lead specific areas of the Neo-Hair Hunt Land MAX, an amusement park constructed by Baldy-Bald the Fourth just for their own usage. A fifth member, Rem, unofficially lead another of the attractions, but was not consciously awake when place around that area. Lambada, who chose to work on his own instead of leading an attraction, eventually joins in the attraction led by Rem...but though he is more powerful than the true leader of the attraction, he merely becomes one of the combatants inside. The last of these seven woke early and lead an advanced team of former Hair Hunters in the modern world.
- Hanpen (ハンペン)?, General Lee Fishcake) The Former A-Block Leader, he is a giant, walking, talking, Japanese fish cake. He first introduced the Sangaria way of fighting to the other block leaders when he is introduced. He was supposed to be eaten by a kid for lunch but got dropped into a nearby river. He floated downstream of the river and washed onshore, only to be attacked by wild animals. Hanpen fought off all the animals in the forest and gained scars (and a human body for some reason) from his experience and became one of three strongest block leaders.[5] When fighting Bobobo's group, Jelly Jiggler constantly challenged Hanpen for the title of being the strongest food-based warrior, but Jelly Jiggler lost (after one attack!) and couldn't defeat him without turning into Mr. Bo-Jiggler. During the New Empire Playoffs, Hanpen became aware of the Reverse Chromedome Empire after both him and Giga were defeated by Crimson, so he joins Bo-bobo for a short time to defeat the new threat after suddenly appearing inside Gasser during the fight against Halon Oni. He wears a karate uniform while in Bo-bobo's group. He also joins Bo-bobo's team a year later during their assault of Baldy-Bald the Third's "23rd Ward". Hanpen is voiced by Hiroaki Miura in Japanese and Steve Kramer in English.
- Lambada (ランバダ?) Former B-Block Leader, he is the master of Polygon Shinken (ポリゴン真拳?, Fist of Polygon). His powers center around using polygons to completely turn his enemies into irregular polygons, rendering most of their attacks useless, or to remove a small smiley-face from the opponent to render them defeated. He can also change the appearance of parts or all of his body to disguise himself or change his limbs into a usable weapon. In addition he can create various weapons through his multi-dimensional polygons. He manages to defeat Rice, but when the time comes for him to face Bobobo and friends, he is first subjected to Softon's "Black Sun Technique" (coutesy of J), and afterwards he is transported by Bo-bobo to an old-school-style game arena, and since his polygons are too advanced for the game, he cannot use them (One of these games, where he runs up carrying giant "Nu" to Jelly Jiggler, is a mini-game in the GBA game "Bakutou Hajike Taisen"). In the end, he is defeated by Bobopatchiggler in a simulated scene from a Bo-bobo video game! He is later seen in the New Chrome Dome Empire Playoffs alongside Halekulani, Giga, Bad Bard, and Haoh. He later sacrifices himself in order to help Rem escape the Reverse Chrome Dome Empire. After Hydrate is defeated, he, Rem, and Ukijin Tokio go off on their own after thanking Bobobo for saving them. He is voiced by Hisayoshi Suganuma in Japanese and Mona Marshall in English.
- Jeda the Wind God (風神のジェダ, Fuujin no Jeda?) Former C-Block Leader. He fights alongside Hagaiou and Raparapa against Bobobo and friends in the "Ice Mecha Ring" attraction, where everyone pilots a robot of some sort in a battle match. Jeda's main battle style is Fuugama Shinken (風鎌真拳, Fist of the Wind Scythe?), which allows him to control an immense scythe to create wind attacks, similar to the present day C-Block Leader: Geha the Gale. He manages to defeat Jelly and trap him within the ice, but is then defeated in the end by PatchBobo after being fused by him with Hagaiou. He is used as a sacrifice during the Cromedome playoffs after being beaten by Crimson. He is voiced by Keiji Hirai in Japanese and Steve Staley in English.
- Rem (レム?) Former D-Block Leader, she is a girl who has the power of Fist of Nighty-Night (爆睡真拳, Baku sui Shinken?, Fist of Crash-Sleeping) to send her opponents to a world of dreams known as "Rem Rest Realm", which they never wake up from. Sometimes, however, she gets carried away and ends up falling asleep herself. Within her sleep world, Rem is twenty-times more powerful than her physical self. After defeating her in her own world, Bo-bobo sends her to "Bo-bobo World Nightmare", where she is forced to face strange nightmarish visions as brought to life by Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Jelly Jiggler. It is later revealed that she was the daughter of two mattresses, and apparently was a misfit in the family and teased by her brothers. After an evil soul living inside of her is exorcised, she becomes good and surrenders, while consequently warning Bo-bobo and the others on the three most powerful of her era: Lambada, Hanpen and Czar Baldy Bald the 3rd. Despite changing sides, Rem is seen with Lambada during a cameo during episode 70 when Bo-bobo and friends are being told the rules of the Chrome Dome Playoffs. She is then captured by Crimson and would have joined the clock of sacrifices if it were not for a selfless sacrifice on the part of Lambada and some help from everyone's favorite afro wearing wiggin warrior, Bobobo. She is voiced by Ryōko Shiraishi in Japanese and Megan Hollingshead in English.
- Combat Blues (コンバット・ブルース)?, Major Minor) Former leader of E-Block, a soldier who is the guardian of the "Battlefield Requiem" (a water slide attraction) of Neo Hair-Hunt Land MAX. His specialty is Trap Shinken (トラップ真拳?, Fist of Traps) Super Fist of Trapping in the U.S. dub, which allows him the use of all sorts of military-issue weaponry as well as various traps set along the water slides. He gets hit by his own weapons and traps often, not to mention faces his downfall when his sure-fire ultimate weapon...turns out to be Torpedo Girl! He is later seen working alongside Czar Baldy Bald the 3rd as he invades the Hair Kingdom, but is merely reading porn while his boss gains the ultimate power! During Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, he has been seen remaining on the Third's side even as he rules the Neo-Maruhage unquestionably. He is voiced by Eiji Takemoto in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Ujikin TOKIO (宇治金, TOKIO Ujikin TOKIO?, Not Nice Cream) Former leader of F-Block, this walking bowl of ujikintoki (a Japanese style shaved ice, changed in the dub to pistachio ice cream) is the leader of the "Runaway Robot Range" area of this amusement park. A master of Natsu Shinken (夏真拳, Fist of Summer?), he is able to create circumstances similar to the summer season or fire ice cream at his opponents. It is revealed that he used to spend his time on the beach, begging for money. After being defeated by Bo-bobo, Jelly Jiggler and Hatenko (by going on a world tour), he returns to try assisting other former leaders in the "Life or Death Triple" medal game...only to be thrown out instantly. He shortly joins up with Beauty and Don Patch in the battle against Seijuro, only to join up with Halekulani in awe of his money. After he is saved by Bobobo, he rejects his one time friend Hanpen because he fought with the afro wearing warrior during the second half of the tournament. He is voiced by Kenji Hamada in Japanese and Liam O'Brien in English.
- Rose-Lily Kikunojō (薔薇百合菊之丞, Barayuri Kikunojō?, Wild Wister) The former leader of G-Block, he is the first leader from the seven-most powerful Hair Hunter blocks from one hundred years ago to awaken in the 31st Century era. Known for his tinted sunglasses and his open-collared shirt, he is a master of Hyakka Ryōran Shinken (百花繚乱真拳, Fist of Blooming Flowers?) Fist of One Hundred Wild Flowers, which allows him to control various floral-based attacks such as petal storms or the growing of various flowers to do his bidding. Upon his release, Kikunojō finds himself in search of the Hair Kingdom, knowing of its power and danger from his era. That search leads him to Bo-bobo, and he becomes his first victim to his new "super" power... which turns out to be a real cool jacket. He is voiced by Susumu Chiba in Japanese and Dan Woren in English.
Other Block Leaders
Like the modern Maruhage, nineteen further Hair-Hunt blocks existed during the former era. As they awoke into this time, the major block leaders recruited several of them to assist in the Sangaria matches against Bo-bobo's troops. Those who weren't chosen ended up assisting on less-major attractions such as the merry-go-round, which is primarily ruled by three block leaders without any true leadership.
- Chikuwan (チクワン?, Churro Charlie) Former H-Block Leader who is a living chikuwa (or a churro in the U.S. dub) that tries to help Master Hanpen by starting a group cheer. The end result is Hanpen yelling at Chikuwan and his cheering squad, making them all upset. He also appears to have a cold. Chikuwan is voiced by Minoru Shiraishi in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Guy Bō (GUY坊 GUY Bō?, Guy Boy) Former I-Block Leader who helps "Master" Hanpen. He keeps surprise-attacking Hatenko whenever he gets distracted, but ends up doing this one too many times and gets his arm "LOCKED". Bell sounds are usually heard when he strikes. Guy Bō is voiced by Kōichi Tōchika in Japanese and Richard Cansino in English.
- Chisuisui (チスイスイ?, Vampire Lame-stat) Former commander of K-Block, he's a vampire who assists Not Nice Cream in the "Runaway Robot Range". He isn't good at sucking jelly and falls alongside his team. He is also known to have good speed and agility, as he can easily move out the way from being run over by Gizmo the Robot. While doing so, he can use his tentacles to his advantage to change the route that Gizmo the Robot moves through. He is defeated by Bobobo's volcanic eruption of magma. Chisuisui is voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto in Japanese and Doug Erholtz in English.
- Raparapa (ラパラパ?, Lapalapa) Former N-Block Leader, also working with Jeda the Wind God in the ice-skating attraction (mostly explaining the rules) and falls against PatchBobo. Raparapa is voiced by Hiroshi Tsuchida in Japanese and Steve Kramer in English.
- Three-Thousand Years (三千年, Sanzennen?) Former O-Block Leader and the only competent member of the merry-go-round attack squad, he fights with the secret technique from three-thousand years of Chinese history: flying bowls of ramen. While the only one of his trio on the merry-go-round that fights, he easily falls by a team effort of Softon, Hatenko and Torpedo Girl. He is voiced by Hidehiko Kaneko in Japanese.
- Star Saber (スターセイバー?, Freak-O-Vision) Former leader of P-Block, he's a walking TV monitor with a fan on his back and boxing gloves on his fists. His abilities include a powerful punch as well as the ability to transform himself and his allies into sci-fi versions of themselves. He is voiced by Eiji Takemoto in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Haigaou (覇凱王 Hagaiou?, Baron von Horny) Former Q-Block Leader, controls a frog mech that transforms to an elephant in the Ice Mecha Ring match. His appearance suggests that he may be somehow connected to Haou of the "Terrible Triplets". He is voiced by Yūsuke Numata in Japanese and Dan Lorge in English.
- Ishikawa Goemon (イシカワ・ゴエモン, Roman Samurai?) Former R-Block leader, he's a strange samurai-like warrior Don Patch is forced to fight in the "Hell Area" of "Life or Death Triple". First appearing as Roman Kikō (浪漫貴公, Roman Kikō?, Romantic You) this is the name where dub name "Roman Samurai" comes from), he is the master of Genjū Shinken (幻獣真拳?, Fist of Strange Animals), allowing him to summon creatures from another dimension to fight for him (even though many of these things aren't too helpful). However, his true identity, easily identified by Don Patch, is similar to the famed Japanese thief and he even tries to steal from Don Patch before falling to defeat. He is voiced by Kenta Miyake in Japanese and Paul St. Peter in English.
- Yagyū (やぎゅう?) Former V-Block Leader, he's a samurai who is best described as an idiot after trying to charge at Torpedo Girl and Co. on a Merry-Go-Round horse. His ponytail gets ripped off by Torpedo Girl and used as Calligraphy brush. He is voiced by Takahiro Fujimoto in Japanese and Paul St. Peter in English.
- Swimsuit Gal (水着ギャル, Mizugi Gyaru?) and Swimsuit Girl (水着ガール, Mizugi Gāru?) are two teenage girls in swimsuits who are respectively the former leaders of W-Block and J-Block and working alongside Combat Blues at the water slide battlefield. The two of them comfort their boss every time he's knocked out, instantly reviving him back into action (and leading to accusations he's a pervert). However, near the episode's end, Bo-bobo has turned them to good just before Combat Blues is defeated. They are voiced by Kozue Kamada and Miho Saiki in Japanese and Barbara Goodson in English.
- Model (モーデル, Morbel?) Former X-Block Leader who loves to hold his own fashion shows, even at the most inappropriate time. He use to be the star of the shows, that is until Torpedo Girl kicked him off and stole the spotlight. He appears again during the New Emperor Playoffs. He is voiced by Keiichiro Yamamoto in Japanese.
- Kancho-kun (カンチョー君 Kancho-kun, The Splinter?) A tiny creature with hands on its head, the former leader of Y-Block's main attack is jutting its fingers up an opponent's butt, a prank commonly performed by small children called a "kancho". After stabbing Jelly Jiggler, Bo-bobo removes it from his behind...where it already is seen dead (a Kancho dies after it has accomplished its life's work). During the threat of the Reverse Chrome Dome Empire, Kancho becomes defacto leader of the group as they journey through the Yamiking towards Hydrate. In the final chapter of the series, we discover that there is an entire species of Kanchos, of which several were gathered for the funeral of one of their own (one had assisted Don Patch in the final battle with Tsurulina the Third). Don Patch takes another one from the crowd at the funeral before moving along. He is voiced by Hiroshi Okamoto in Japanese and Michael Sorich in English.
- Rububa the Bubbles (泡玉のルブバ, Awadama no Rububa)?, Bubble-Luba) Former Z-Block Leader who uses Shabon Shinken (シャボン真拳?, Fist of Soap, Super Fist of the Bubbles in the dub), which allows him to create bubbles of any size through a giant straw or turn himself into a bubble. He explains the functions of the "Life or Death Triple" machine and lays out a 6-team format for fighting inside (which Bobobo's team disregard anyway since Dengakuman and Softon came in as extras and Jelly Jiggler re-enters the machine under a different alias). Rububa dispatches Dengakuman easily with bubble warriors, but gets blasted away by Rice, Don Patch, and Bobobo's "Wiggin' Cannon". He is voiced by Takayuki Kondo in Japanese and Brian Beacock in English.
Hair Hunters
Although a massive platoon of former Hair Hunters were frozen alongside Tsurulina the Third and the generals, many of them were of no significance to the story. All of the Hair Hunters in this list are notable due to waking prior to the main group of former Hair Hunters, with many of them joining Rose-Lily Kikunojo's initial assault. The exception to that group are the two Associate Hair Hunters, who remained in the chamber when Tsurulina the Fourth investigated the return of his predecessors.
- Gorgon (ゴルゴン?) A hair hunter from one hundred years ago, has the ability to breathe fire (and for some reason he can fight better underwater). He is voiced by Michael Sorich in English.
- Nihiru (ニヒル?, Ringo (assumed name) / Nihilistic (English manga)) A hair hunter from one hundred years ago, known for having bangs in front of his eyes and being extremely cool. After the defeat of the first wave of Hair Hunters, he ends up gaining the assistance of his former Hair Hunt block leader: Wild Wister, though Wild Wister uses an attack which makes sees no difference between friend or foe, which knocks him out of the fight. He continues to watch from a nearby alley, and is surprised when Bobobo defeats Wister. In the English dub, there are several puns made by him in reference to The Beatles, the famous English rock band, not to mention his supposed dub name is the same name of one of the band members. He is voiced by Michael Sorich in English.
- Rocco (ラッコ?, Otter (English manga)) A small otter/Hair Hunter from one hundred years ago, ends up playing Dengaku Man in shogi before being sent off to an aquarium. He claims that he was not really part of the Hair Hunters and was merely hitching a ride with them. He is voiced by Michael Sorich in English.
- Jūbei (十兵衛, Juubei?) A hair hunter from one hundred years ago, wears an eye patch and wields a sword, but prevents him from being tossed around by Softon. He is voiced by Michael Sorich in English.
- Shaina (シャイナ, Syaina?) A female Hair Hunter from one hundred years ago, she can transform her hair into a spider and shoots strings from her fingers and manipulate them like the webs of a spider.
- Associate Hair Hunters #5 and #6: Two hair hunters, a human in torn clothing with a switchblade and a small gumdrop-like creature with wings, the two of them were former Hair Hunters from a hundred years ago. Working together, they force Czar Baldy Bald the 4th to release the former Hair Hunter leaders from their era to take care of the enemies in this time. They are sacrificed by the reverse chromedome after dropping out of the new emperor playoffs. These two, along with Combat Blues, remain loyal to Czar Baldy Bald the 3rd through the end of part 1. Associate Hair Hunter #5 is voiced by Steve Staley in English.
Other vilains
- Gadget Kun (ガジエト 君, Gajeto kun?, Gizmo Gadget the Robot) The robot is the "Runaway Robot" Gizmo Gadget attraction that is operated by Ujikin TOKIO's team in the Runaway Robot Range. It follows the path of the tracks on the field and can be altered at any time. However, if it ever crashes, it explodes.
- Bubble Brothers: Buby & Buba are two demonic bubble beings that are summoned by Rububa the Bubbles. They both defeat Dengakuman.
Hydrate & the Reverse Chrome Dome
Deep below the surface of the Earth, a mysterious Dark World exists unknown to nearly all but a few. Within this world is a Reverse Chrome Dome Empire, whose leader, a man known as Hydrate, once lived on the surface and wishes to return topside as Chrome Dome emperor! Although he mostly rules alongside various local citizens with powerful Dark Fist styles, his entourage also includes the infamous "Catharsis of Babylon" and...Bo-bobo's older brother!?
Background
Way, way below the surface of the Earth, below the feet of the commoners and powerful of the Maruhage Empire, there is another Maruhage Empire. A Reverse Maruhage Empire (dub: Shadow Chrome Dome Empire) ruled in parallel to the original, controlled by evil, dominating forces who keep authority to those who live in the underground. This Maruhage Empire even has a powerful, maniacal leader similar to the dominative power of Baldy-Bald the Third: a man known as Hydrate. This emperor used to live on the surface once, but had been banished to the deep, dark below due to his own ambitions. Ever since his banishment, Hydrate has had only one thing on his mind: revenge against the ones who sent him away and to claim his self-proclaimed birthright to be leader of the real Maruhage Empire.
As powerful as Hydrate is on his own, he isn't the only one fighting against the forces of the surface. The beings who live in the Dark World where his Reverse empire is located are notorious for the powers and techniques they possess within their grasp. The four members of the Reverse Maruhage Four Heavenly Kings (dub: The Shadow Big Four) in particular are masters of a special style of technique known as Yamiken, which may seem similar to Shinken abilities of the surface but with the advantages of greater power and the ability to upgrade using the style to a more powerful formation. Furthermore, Hydrate have two side men he brought along (or abducted in one case) with him, both of whom are masters of Fist styles even more powerful than the Yamiken of their underground peers and whose only purpose is the success of the future Maruhage emperor. Yet as the plot between the two worlds slowly comes to fruition, Hydrate and his minions do not expect the resistance they would face on his road to complete domination.
Table of Sacrifices
The Table of Sacrifices (生け贄板, Ikenieban?) is an artifact summoned by the Three Sacks in order to raise the Yamiking and its master, Hydrate, to the surface. Typically, a being from the Reverse Maruhage can only individually teleport back and forth between dimensions (we see when Crimson, LOVE and the Sacks return to the Dark World, they use a teleporter that allows them to raise and fall between the surface). An object such as the Yamiking needs a lot of energy to rise up to the main world compared to the limited amount of energy that individuals can use. Thus, the Table of Sacrifices is needed to gather energy from twelve individuals (in the form of a clock) to power the Yamiking. After the Sacks summon the clock, Crimson and LOVE throw over defeated opponents (already known to be really strong since they made it to the final stage of the Maruhage New Emperor Playoff) into each number, with the assumption that their great energy will siphon from the clock to the Yamiking. After the Yamiking rises to the surface, the clock disappears but the sacrifices remained drained of their power, turning weak and powerless until the castle, and likewise Hydrate, are defeated.
Hydrate (ハイドレート?) Known as the "Dark Emperor", he is the mad leader of the Reverse Chrome Dome Empire that exists underground beneath the castle of the real Maruhage Empire. But it was not enough to defeat the 4th, who eventually threw him away into the "Dark World", where he eventually established his own empire and army to take down his brother and the people of the surface world. Alongside his Shinken, he also uses various armors to assist him such as the "Nyan Nyan Armor" (a set of cat pajamas), the "Fat-Raising Armor" (a bra) and his ultimate "Dark Necros" Armor! Taking advantage of the "New Emperor Playoff" being held by his older brother, Hydrate uses his warriors to infiltrate the tournament and steal the energy of the strongest warriors to raise his "Floating Castle Yamiking" and immediately declaring himself Tsuru Tsurulina the 5th (Czar Baldy-Bald the 5th) upon seizing the throne from his deserting brother! But eventually, he is defeated by the combined power of Bo-bobo and Super Patch. He is 38 yrs old. On the sidenote, he is the last seen enemy at the end of the anime. He is voiced by Shigeru Chiba in Japanese and Kirk Thornton in English.
- The Reverse Maruhage Big Four: Hydrate's most powerful Shadow World minions, they infiltrate the Chrome Dome Tournament so that no one would interfere with their emperor's plans as well as making him the next Czar. Three of them like all Shadow World residents, are capable of merging with their fists to become more powerful creatures.
- Halon Oni (ハロンオニ?, Maloney Oni): A boy with a demonic tail who is a member of the Reverse Cromedome Empire, as well as part of their Cromedome Big Four. He has an uncanny resemblance to Gasser in appearance. His main ability is "Sword Yamiken" (Dark Fist of Swords), which allows him to summon swords of various sizes at will. Initially, Halon works with a penguin-like creature called Slim, but eventually betrays him. He has a demonic tail that can vastly increase the size of his opponents, which he uses to puncture Gasser, turning him into a giant battlefield stuck in the ground until his collar comes off (due to DonPatch taking it off) and he goes into baby mode. After being annihilated by Baby Gasser, he upgrades himself into a more demonic form with wings and an immense sword. Halon fights and is defeated by Super Patch, the upgraded form of Don Patch, and, with his last pleads to God to make him more like the one defeating him, turns into a Ko Patch when he has fallen! Daisuke Sakaguchi is voiced by Quinton Flynn (normal) and David Lodge (Maloney Oni 2).
- Slim (スリム?) A penguin creature that is Halon's (Maloney Oni's) assistant...until Halon decides to turn on him. His main ability is to stretch and increase muscle mass on his arms, allowing for powerful blows. He is voiced by Takahiro Fujimoto.
- The Three Sacks (3ぶくろ, San-Bukuro?, Triple Bag): A trio of brothers who are just that - three sacks...as well as being members of the "Reverse Maruhage Four Heavenly Kings". They were planning to sacrifice Bobobo and Rem in their "Table Of Sacrifices" (which is a clock) after capturing Lambada within, needed to gather the energy to release Hydrate's castle from the underground. Their abilities of "Sanbukuro Yamiken" (Sanbakuro Yami Shinken 3袋闇真拳 in the anime; Dark Fist of Three Sacks) releases attacks, from blunt objects to powerful blasts, from inside their bodies and towards their opponents. Bobobo defeats the eldest one, whom the two younger ones have a burial for, and when they try to stand up to him, they too are defeated. As a last resort, the youngest sack revives his older brothers and fuses all three of them into an odd white creature with yellow horns, which is defeated by Super Denbo-chan in the Storybook World. After they are defeated, they return trying to get some assistance from Byakkyō inside the Yamiking, but the surgeon chose to take him apart instead. These three are the last enemies Bo-bobo's team have a chance to face in the anime due to cancellation. In the continuing manga, it is revealed the super form is the natural form as it tries to enter White Curse's room, but is denied access. they are voiced by Dan Lorge (Youngest) Stephanie Sheh (Second Oldest) Michael Sorich (Oldest) Jamieson Price (Transformed).
- Crimson (クリムゾン?) A three-eyed member of the Reverse Maruhage Empire's Four Heavenly Kings, he is first implied by defeating Giga effortlessly offscreen during the New Emperor Playoffs. He is also the first opponent faced by the allies of Bo-bobo heading up through Hydrate's floating fortress. Crimson uses his abilities of "Mitsume Yamiken" (Dark Fist of Three Eyes) to create giant floating eyeballs to perform various tasks, mostly for offensive purposes (like firing lasers) and looking over his arena. As guardian of the first level of Hydrate's fortress, he controls the "Cinematic Hour" stage, forcing his opponents (in this case Bo-bobo, Tennosuke and Halekulani) to take part in various life-or-death movie scenarios. However, he and his allies find defeat when Bo-bobo transforms into Kintenbo, finding themselves facing various penalty games before being thrown into another dimension! Crimson is voiced by Kenta Miyake in Japanese and Liam O'Brien in English.
- LOVE (ラブ?): Though she appears like a normal woman, she reveals that she is a dominatrix when it came time for battle and the last of the Reverse Chrome Dome Big 4. She also loves men with big muscles so she has a factory that runs on a conveyor belt that gives men bulging muscles. Bobobo, Sad Sack, and Jelly Jiggler were pulled on for a demonstration (Bobobo turns into the Robin Mask, then Akuma Shogun from the Kinnikuman series and Jelly Jiggler just got bushier eyebrows) so OVER, Don Patch, and Hatenko team up. She attacks by the power of Oiroke Yamiken (Dark Fist of Sexy), which includes fighting with a whip as well as blowing kisses and smooching the opponents. Her actions (as well Tennosuke, unintentionally) transforms OVER back into Torpedo Girl, making her much harder to stop and forcing LOVE to transform into an immense bird creature. She is finally brought to a stop by "Hatenko World", where Hatenko and Torpedo Girl unlock their true potential... but Torpedo Girl's true potential is a battleship!! She reverts back to her normal form, only to be killed by Don Patch. Makiko Ohmoto is voiced by Mona Marshall.
Reverse Block Leaders
- Shanmeri (シャンメリ?) Leader of Reverse A-Block, a disciple of Be-bebe's leghair style.
- Phone Poll (電柱 Denchū?) Leader of Reverse B-Block, another disciple of Be-bebe...even though its a living poll.
- Weight-sama (分銅様, Fundō-sama?) Leader of Reverse C-Block, this huge headed horned being is actually a living 1000-ton weight that crushes his opponents. He is defeated by Patchbobo.
- Nightingirl (ナイチンガール?) Leader of Reverse D-Block, she supplies scalpels to assist in Byakkyō's surgery attacks. Her name is a slight pun on famed nurse Florence Nightingale. She is defeated by Patchbobo.
- Tsūgan G (ツーガン?, G Tsūgan G) Leader of Reverse E-Block, he's a one-eyed gunman working with Crimson. Fighting alongside Crimson and Chef Lin, he is defeated by Kintenbo.
- Chef Lin (しぇふりん?) Leader of Reverse F-Block, it's a leech that wears an apron and chef's hat. He doesn't do much and didn't seem know what was going on (he gets himself shot several times by stray bullets during a cowboy shoot-out while talking to Bobobo out in the open).
- Meat-Meat Aliens (ニクニク星人, Nikuniku Seijin?) Leaders of both Reverse G-Block and Reverse H-Block, they work alongside LOVE in the "Muscle Conveyor" chamber. Facing Don Patch as an opponent, he almost adopts them as children...until he starts beating them up for giving him too much weight! (note: the "niku" in their name can stand for the Japanese word for meat, but can also be put together as "nikuniku", which stands for "detestable")
Hydrate's Right & Left Hand Men
- Byakkyō (白狂, Byakkyō?, White Curse) Hydrate's right-hand man and the guardian of the third-floor "Operating Room" of his fortress. He's also known as "Byakkyō the Catharsis Slaughterer", a title given to him 15 years ago for the annihilation of the warriors of the Holy Land of Babylon when he was just a boy. His main ability is through his "Teope Shinken" (Fist of Surgery), allowing him to physically open his opponents. The main means is through several cursed dolls implanted through his body, allowing Byakkō to harm anyone by merely stabbing or cutting one of these dolls. (the fist also allows him to use surgical equipment as weaponry) Another of his attacks implants the cursed dolls into his opponent's body (in Tennosuke's case, his butt) and unravel their strings, slicing open their opponent. Don patch parodies this by implanting several "Yakkun" dolls into himself... and later, Patchbobo fuses the Yakkun dolls with the fused ones, making them useless. He is finally defeated by a team effort by every member of Bo-bobo's group...except Don Patch! Byakkyō is voiced by Hidehiko Kaneko in Japanese and Jeff Nimoy in English.
- Bebebe-be Be-bebe (ベベベーベ ベーベベ?) The guardian of the fourth floor "Moon Sati-Field ZO", he is both the left-hand man of Hydrate...and one of Bo-bobo's big brothers! He seems like a cool-appearing male consistently in black and smoking, but the hair in front of his eyes isn't for style: they prevent anyone from seeing how cutesy they are! While Bo-bobo's favorite sibling in his youth (where he is occasionally depicted as a cat!), he was abducted by Hydrate twenty years prior and brainwashed to work for the Reverse Maruhage Empire. A hair master like his little brother, Be-bebe is a master of "Sunege Shinken" (Fist of Leghair), which allows complete mastery of his hair even to the point of unleashing it from the cuffs of his pants. Similarly, he can both stop Bo-bobo's own nosehairs by merely yelling out "SUNEGE!" whenever his brother prepares to use his hair attacks. Using his hair skills amplified by the power of his stage (the moon increases the power of leghair and stops all other hair attacks), Be-bebe nearly defeats Bo-bobo...until Bo-bobo is forced to draw on the power of "Ganeme" (turning his sunglasses upside down unleashing a furious glasses onslaught) to put a stop to him! Eventually, Be-bebe follows Bo-bobo home to the Hair Kingdom to assist in bringing down their elder brother, Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi. (though his sister, Bububu-bu Bu-bubu, later criticized that he did nothing to stop his brother, Be-bebe did help Bo-bobo fight Bi-bibi when he possessed Bird of Paradise) Bebebe-be Be-bebe is voiced by Paul St. Peter.
Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi and the Hair Kingdom
After the Chrome Dome invasion twenty years earlier, the Hair Kingdom had a vacuum in its control. This vacuum was filled by the evil Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi, another of Bo-bobo's brothers who both enhanced the land while turning it into a police state. In the midst of fighting against his sister Bububu-bu Bu-bubu, Bi-bibi leads a platoon of warriors to protect his kingdom from invaders. The most infamous: the First Hair Lion's Resolve 16, the sixteen district leaders who include warriors, assassins, contest winners and a chaotic being even feared by Baldy-Bald the Third!
Background
The Hair Kingdom is one of the few stable nations left on Earth not absorbed within the Maruhage Empire. A peaceful yet slightly barren country, most of its citizens are, not surprisingly, small hair creatures who appear like little balls with one hair sticking up and a face on the base of the follicle. However, several of the citizens of this land are humanoid beings who not only have hair but are gifted with the power of "Hair" deep within themselves! The source of power for the humanoids is a special orb known as a Hair Ball, located deep within the chest cavity and allowing the being to use their abilities. Usually the power controlled by one with a Hair Ball involves the control and manipulation of hair, but there have been exceptions regarding another skill utilized merely powered by the Hair Ball. (such as Hatenko's Fist of Key). If the Hair Ball is destroyed, the humanoid will die immediately.
As peaceful as the Hair Kingdom has been, there have been moments of turmoil that threaten its safety and security. One hundred years ago, an army from the Maruhage Empire under the leadership of Tsuru Tsurulina the Third (Czar Baldy-Bald the Third) invaded the kingdom, expecting little resistance from those who lived there. No one from the massive empire expected a dramatic resistance by the beings of the Hair Kingdom: powered by their Hair Balls and using remarkable abilities, the warriors of hair resisted and removed the threat of the Maruhage, restoring peace to the barren wasteland nation. After victory, no further threats emerged to threaten the kingdom at that time.
As the years passed and the peace remained in the Hair Kingdom, a new generation of humanoid children were born: five of the same father, all of whom left with the guard of protecting their homeland. These five would eventually be known as the Five Hair Children. Each of these children would eventually take up one of the five separate Hair-style fists, separate in location of follicle manipulation but equal in power and ability:
- Eldest Child: Bababa-ba Ba-baba: Fist of Chest Hair
- Second Eldest: Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi: Fist of Head Hair
- Middle Child: Bububu-bu Bu-bubu: Fist of Armpit Hair
- Second Youngest: Bebebe-be Be-bebe: Fist of Leg Hair
- Youngest Child: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo: Fist of Nose Hair
There was great tension even early on between the Hair Children, particularly between the younger and older siblings. Both Ba-baba and Bi-bibi exhibited tremendous evil auras in front of their younger siblings, making them scared to face up to the possible threat their brothers possessed. Similarly, tension was shown in the training of certain Hair styles between those born of the kingdom and those who weren't. Although Bo-bobo trained with his friend Captain Battleship in the Nose Hair style, he became its master because of his birthright within the Hair Kingdom.
One day, twenty years ago, everything came to a head. A new king was to be chosen of the Hair Children of the one who possessed the great seal of the nation, and it was Bo-bobo who held it. Older brother Bi-bibi became jealous of his youngest brother, believing himself as the only one to lead the nation. Taking advantage of the leadership of the Maruhage Empire and their back history, a new Hair Hunt started with the Hair Kingdom as their initial target. Within days, soldiers scoured the countryside in search of hair to pluck, human or follicle. In the midst of the chaos, special escape pods were set up in order to transport the Hair Children out of their home until the coast was clear. One teleported eldest child Ba-baba out (accidentally), while another was used by their father to get away before a platoon of Hair Hunters tracked him down. Two other Hair Children were ultimately captured by the Maruhage: Bo-bobo was left by his father to the bald soldiers while Bebebe-be Be-bebe (who had been turned into a cat due to a time paradox) was stolen during the invasion by the emperor's brother, Hydrate.
Eventually, the chaos in the Hair Kingdom died down and the Maruhage soldiers returned home where they continued their Hair Hunt on their own citizens to this day. Yet after the chaos, a desired had been accomplished: Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi suddenly had no resistance preventing him from becoming the leader of the kingdom. Over the next twenty years, the Hair Child ruler made many rapid changes to his home, advancing the Hair Kingdom's technology and culture a thousand years within a short period of time. Yet even with rapid advancements, all matters of freedom and peace were replaced with paranoia and security as Bi-bibi clamped down authority on top of his people. He divided the Hair Kingdom into sixteen separate districts and recruited an army of tough, loyal soldiers to maintain the security of the land. His most infamous warriors are the Fist Hair Lion's Resolve 16, the sixteen leaders of the districts making use of some of the most powerful beings on the planet, including some that make Maruhage warriors cringe.
But even in the face of Bi-bibi's tyranny, hope still remained within the kingdom. Bububu-bu Bu-bubu, the only daughter of the Hair Children and Bi-bibi's little sister, began mounting a resistance against her brother but realized that she could not do it alone and needed the assistance of a powerful, important warrior. Recruiting Hatenko, another humanoid and an old family friend, she sent him off towards the Maruhage Empire to get the one person who can help her free their home from their evil brother: her younger brother Bo-bobo!
The Hair Children
- Bababa-ba Ba-baba (バババーバ・バーババ?) The eldest of the five children of hair. Although merely mentioned and never appearing in the series, he is believed to have an evil aura just like Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi. Due to a process of elimination regarding the "five hairs", it is believed he would be the master of "Munage Shinken" (Fist of Chesthair). Early in the arc, we see him talking with younger brother Bi-bibi and it does seem he does have a bit of control of the actions in the Hair Kingdom. But, it turns out Bo-bobo threw his escape pod into space twenty years ago as the Hair Kingdom was first under siege from the Maruhage Empire, showing that he is operating elsewhere and is no longer on Earth. Since Ba-baba hasn't returned from wherever he is in space, it is likely he is still out there. At the end of Part 1, Hatenko decides to go into outer space in search of Ba-baba. Outside of his Hair Kingdom cameo, he remains unseen throughout the entire series.
- Bebebe-be Be-bebe
- Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi (ビビビービ ビービビ?) The second child of the Five Hair Siblings (older brother to Bu-bubu, Be-bebe and Bo-bobo, but younger than Ba-baba), he is the leader of the "New Hair Kingdom" and the final opponent of the first part of the Bo-bobo manga.
- Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
- Bububu-bu Bu-bubu
Bibibi-bi Do♥kkyun Suicide Corp
Bibibi-bi Do♥kkyun Suicide Corp (ビービビドッキュン親衛隊B, i-BiBiDokkyunShineitai?) A five man squad under the control of both Bababa-ba Ba-baba and Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi, serving as a welcoming committee for visitors of the Hair Kingdom. Working together as a team, four out of the five use their "Sentai Shinken" to attack any oncoming opponents either in battle or in their Takoyaki entrance fight. Blocking the train path into the kingdom, they forcefully issue out brands for new visitors that make them show their love for Bi-bibi. However, they end up challenging Bo-bobo thinking it would be an easy victory without knowing that he was one of the five children of the hair, sealing their downfall in an attack involving various horror stories!
- Daraiaso (ダライアソ?) A fanged man, he attacks with "Blue Sword Dinosaur" and "Blue Almanac Blade".
- Deus (デイウス?) A maniacal man with horns on his head, he is the de-facto leader of the Suicide Corp. His main attack is "Red Gunmaster".
- Inbī (インビー?) The only female member of the team, she has an interest in cute things like Dengaku Man. Her attack is "Pink Ribbon Energy".
- Kamozaki Garuhei (カモ崎ガル平, Kamozaki Garuhei?) A duck who works as a member of the team and likes to eat fish. His main attack is "Green Duck Panlid"
- Pigmuck: A strange creature in sunglasses with antenna and completely covered in curly hair. Because of the coincidence of his imagination to the member, Don Patch thinks that he's actually Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi and challenges him during the Bo-bobo team's fight with the rest of the suicide corp!
The First Hair Lion's Resolve 16
The First Hair Lion's Resolve 16 (発毛獅志16区, Hatsu Mou Shishi 16 Ku?) The sixteen leaders of the various districts of Bi-bibi's "New Hair Kingdom", all of whom are summoned by their leader to take out his betraying sister, Bububu-bu Bu-bubu, as part of his ultimate plan for the Hair Kingdom. But with the return of Bo-bobo and his allies, they may have their work cut out for them...
- Shigeki X (シゲキX?) The leader both of "East Bodysoap Tower" battle arena and the 1st District of the Hair Kingdom. He first appears as a yellow, Don Patch-like being who believes in the philosophy of Shigeki just like Don Patch believes in his Hajike skills and abilities. (This "Shigeki" philosophy consequently is also connected to his idol status in the Hair Kingdom, where his posters and merchandise are everywhere) As the main leader of the final tower, he forces Bo-bobo and his team to take on his ultimate challenge: "MechaShigekiTower Survival" (Excessively Shigeki Tower Survival), where he forces them to climb from level to level either to save their friends...or to die Shigekily! As Bo-bobo, Don Patch and Tennosuke make their way towards the top of the tower, they reach an arena where Shigeki X's followers allow him to reach his full power and transform into his true form: an extremely powerful human who's infamy was even known to Tsuru Tsurulina the 3rd! Long ago, the human Shigeki X was originally the king of the "Shigeki Kingdom", which although now long gone, was the only kingdom that had never been conquered by the Maruhage Empire! This form of the warrior fights "Shigekily" (where "Shigeki" now stands for "Death Play") with his "Shigekiteki Shinken" (Fist of Shigekily), attacking with powerful abilities and attacks with the power of "X"! One of these attacks, an X-shaped dimension, is used to trap Bo-bobo and Don Patch and force them to absorb the true power of Shigeki. But through a fluke circumstance and an improbable fusion, the two of them come together into Yokohama Junko: an adult woman who has more than enough power to stop the maniacal Shigeki X once and for all! Though stopped, he did continue to pay respects to his former boss Bi-bibi...though he was there the day he was revived.
- Goisu (ゴイスー?) Although the leader of the 2nd District appears normal compared to his teammates Shigeki X and Wandering Tofu, he is actually the little brother of Bo-bobo's friendly rival, Gunkan! With hair that can transform into its familiar regent form, he can use it to open and fire weapons and his allies at his opponents. Inside "MechaShigekiTower Survival", he is the master of the "Rising Kyoto Labyrinth", a three-legged race through an ancient Japanese setting and filled with traps. Although unknown what happened, it is presumed that Goisu ends up falling when Yokohama Junko destroys "East Bodysoap Tower".
- Wandering Tofu (さすらいの豆腐, Sasurai no Tofū?) A powerful martial arts warrior with a head of soy, he is leader of Hair Kingdom 3rd District, a teammate of Shigeki X and Goisu...and Tokoro Tennosuke (Jelly Jiggler) 's destined rival! His main anger derives from his failure to convince humans to use tofu as tennis balls, making him easily fight against them. Although already with an immense hatred of tokoroten as well, he ends up releasing his wrath after Tennosuke destroys an army of tofu cubes in his "Tofu Dojo" in the West area of the Hair Kingdom. In the first match-up, he obtains victory with the skills of "Purupuru Shinken" (Fist of the Wobble-Wobble), the same Shinken style as Tennosuke, and then sending him back to Bo-bobo with a hostage note tied to a tofu cube! When the jelly man rejoins the team, he is forced to face Wandering Tofu again in the "MechaShigekiTower Survival", where he and his teammates joined together in fighting against the hair warrior and his allies. The tofu-man controlled the second level: "Cube Tofu Cube Puzzle", where he used his Purupuru Shinken skills to control the tofu and attack everyone inside preventing them from solving it. By the time everyone reaches the final level, Wandering Tofu and Tokoro Tennosuke have their final showdown, just after villainous ally Shigeki X had dealt with every other member of the jelly-man's team. In a blow-by-blow battle of Purupuru Shinken vs. Pururpuru Shinken, Tennosuke finally obtains victory with the power of the grief he spent of his many years unsold! Just when Wandering Tofu finally came to his senses about his enemy, though, Shigeki X kills him for being unneeded for their plans! (yet oddly enough, he was alive again a year later without any indications of his death)
- Bird of Paradise (極楽鳥, Gokurakuchō?) A young male who leads the 4th district of Hair Kingdom and is the leader at the "West Shampoo Tower". His main fighting style is "Ansatsu Shinken" (Fist of Assassination) which he uses to steal Dengaku Man and force Bo-bobo to fight him in his "Five-Thousand Elevator Field" where each button leads to a different trap. However, in the middle of his fight, Bi-bibi unexpectically stabs him with his hair powers, forcing Bird of Paradise to become possessed by his master and allowing him to use the abilities of "Kami no Ge Shinken" (Fist of Head Hair) under this state. When Bo-bobo, Be-bebe and Don Patch set him free, their opponent regains consciousness. However, Bird of Paradise feels shamed at failing his master's mission, using his Fist ability to kill him self and turning him into his true form: a hair. Although he was supposedly dead, he reappeared alive once again a year later just as Bibibi-bi Bi-bibi came back to life with the return of his Hair Ball.
- Yūko (ゆうこ?) The leader of the 5th District of Hair Kingdom and one of the co-guardians of "North Conditioner Tower", she originally appears as a cute girl with thin braids in front, but consistently watching the actions of Bu-bubu for Bi-bibi. But when Bo-bobo's team begins to face her in her "Club Stage" arena, Softon knows there is something different as he feels his "Babylon Seal" slipping away from him. It is when Bo-bobo and the others try to protect him that truth is revealed: this general reveals herself as Icen (アイセン?), a warrior from Babylon and another master of "Babylon Shinken"! Because of the rules of "two Babylon warriors never existing at the same time", Icen remains in her mask (a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a cone on top) while Softon reveals himself as Beauty's long-lost brother before she traps him inside a giant toilet! Eventually, she finally falls when Bo-bobo forces her into a "summer-theme game zone" which finally weakens her Babylon powers, defeating her and restoring Softon to his poop-headed self.
- Hell Dolphin (じごくのイルカ, Jigoku no Iruka?) The leader of 6th District of the Hair Kingdom, his identity originally remained hidden because the general was going to be the winner of a Jump contest where the readers can create the villain. When he is finally revealed, the general turns out to be a strange walking rubbery dolphin! While fighting Bo-bobo, Hell Dolphin keeps going on about being the winner of this contest while easily being beat up. His main style is "Peropero Shinken" (Fist of Beep-Beep), allowing him to release tracking radar such as a dolphin does. In the end, Hell Dolphin is defeated when several other fan-created characters appear from an alternate dimension, taking their revenge for his victory by dragging him back to their world!
- Fine (ファイン?) Leader of the team guarding "South Rinse Tower" and the general of the 7th district of the Hair Kingdom. His abilities in "Biryūshi Shinken" (Fist of Particles) allows him to control the tiniest building blocks of the world, letting him create anything he feels like. Using his abilities on behalf of Bi-bibi, he chooses to use them to destroy the opposing members of the Hair Kingdom through a Keshi Keshikeshi battle (a four-on-four decisive battle) involving rotating one-on-one combat, but does not care for sacrificing allies if necessary. Bu-bubu uses one of her secret techniques to allow Bo-bobo to perform three Shinken to stop him: Onara Shinken, Moemoe Shinken and her own Wakige Shinken (Fist of Armpit Hair)! (which she herself taught him)
- Yabō (ヤボウ?) While the leader of the Hair Kingdom 8th District, he doesn't do a thing outside get attacked by Bo-bobo alongside Icen and his other teammates. He wears a straw hat and has a face like a tengu.
- Red K (レッド K?) & Blue D (ブルー D?) Respectively the leaders of the 10th and 9th Districts and working with Fine, these two are first seen as beings covered in huge helmets. But when they are revealed, both turn out to be two buxom SD maids who "nya" like catgirls! (perhaps a parody of the manga/anime Tokyo Mew Mew) The duo work together with their "Moemoe Shinken" (the best translation would be "Fist of Cute Girl", with the "moemoe" concept connected to various shoujo series depicting young-looking, usually preteen girls) to lure in opponents with their cuteness and their tea, then subsequently smash them with their iron knuckles. Don Patch nearly falls for their act twice before finally gaining the resolve of a boxer, smashing through both of their cuteness!
- Shil the Descendant Angel (堕天使シェル, Datenshi Shil?) A bishonenous angel and the guardian of 11th District, he uses the power of his "Angel Shinken" to release feathers at opponents and is also the main controller of the "Club Stage", which forces his opponents into believing they are in a night club. (though superior Yūko realizes that both he and Hell Dolphin are idiots)
- 12th District General (発毛12区総隊長, Hatsu Mou 12-Ku Soutaichō?) This general, a strange creature in a nightcap who's a master of "Umi no Sachi Shinken" (Fist of Seafood), appears only twice: during Bi-bibi's initial briefing and when he is easily blown up by magic firecrackers by Tsuru Tsurulina the 3rd.
- Captain Lunac (ルナーク大佐, Lunac Taisa?) A soldier-like man wearing two eye patches, he is the leader of Hair Kingdom's 13th District and one of Fine's assistants. His "Iessa Shinken" (Fist of Yes Sir) allow for him to create an army of miniature soldier fairies to attack for him whenever he lifts both eyepatches. After Bu-bubu stops him in the battle, Lunac tries to defend himself from his boss, but Fine turns him into a hair statue which he immediately smashes, killing him instantly!
- Extremely Healthyman (とっても健康マン, Tottemo Kenkōman?) Trapped within a straightjacket and mask, he is Bird of Paradise's other companion and the leader of 14th District. His "Sokubaku Shinken" (Fist of Restraint) forces his enemies to become as constricted down as he is. After Bird of Paradise's defeat, he reveals himself to be a much healthier version of Hinjyaku (an unhealthy man who appears in visual cameo in vol. 2 while Bo-bobo is teasing Beauty during Gasser's fight with Wall Man)...but Bo-bobo and Don Patch still make easy work of him regardless!
- Wasabeef Carl (ワサビーフ カール?) A fat man in a beret who is the leader of 15th District and works alongside Bird of Paradise. His eyes and mouth are made up of numbers, which his "Buhittone Shinken" (Fist of "Buhittone") allows for him to count down to the point of releasing a small creature inside of him. Bo-bobo and Don Patch eliminate him and his partner easily after Bird of Paradise (possessed by Bi-bibi) is dealt with.
- 16th District General (発毛16区総隊長, Hatsu Mou 16-Ku Soutaichō?) A general with a huge Swiss Army Knife on his back, he is only seen when he is blown up by Tsuru Tsurulina the 3rd.
